Whats the best kind of down jacket available stateside?

I'm thinking about buying some Clarks, does anyone have any experience with tough winters? I'm thinking about the desert boots, any thoughts?

Just started photography, need some feedback for a beginner ._.

Tips for better pictures? Get a better Camera? Better technique?

only one i've had experience with is the etymotics. bass is sub par, but clarity is ridiculous. sound isolation is so good it's scary... definitely wouldn't wear these while running because you can't hear cars and you can hear thumping from the cords hitting against you. but for quiet listening, awesome headphones.
