The shitty thing about your predicament is that you bought it from a private seller; with no buyer protection and thus, no incentive for the seller to disclose the entire truth up front.

I just got back into skating as well. Finding it a lot easier/less fucking scary now that I'm older.

I quit my summer job last week in order to prepare for the upcoming academic quarter. I had my first weekend (Thursday-Saturday) off in 4 months. Feels good, man.

As far as my education/future is concerned, I've decided to stick with my English major (Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish concept) for the first year or so, then switch over to Physical Therapy if I find it to be too impractical. Career uncertainty aside, the excitement I have towards studying/learning can not be understated.

I'm watching "All the President's Men", and there's a scene where Hoffman randomly tosses Robert Redford a cookie mid-sentence and Redford just replies, "I don't want a cookie."

I found this exchange to be so amusing that I immediately paused the movie just now to check if there was a quick clip of it on youtube.

GSP fans should be fucking yearning for a fight against Diaz. Especially if Diaz decidedly beats BJ.

It's obvious that for some time now, there's been a lack of competition for GSP. This isn't GSP's fault in the least, but detractors use this to bash GSP. At this point in his career, Pierre should be fighting the best fighters possible (in his weight class) to cement his legacy at WW. Diaz being at the top of that list.

I actually sympathize with the guy. He probably plays the heel because being defensive and mean is much easier than being nice and stressing over whether people like you or not. Dude even said post-fight that he doesn't like the role of the heel, he's just a normal guy.

But personal feelings aside, I think Diaz would've been GSP's biggest test to date, but Condit really isn't a step down either. It's still a fight in which everyone will be slightly nervous for GSP.

^Yeah Ayn Rand is a bit of a slug. Anthem was pretty enjoyable, but The Fountainhead or Atlas Shrugged just looks like torture. Feel free to correct me if I'm misinformed.

I kinda feel the same way about Infinite Jest, ie, like I will never finish it. It's certainly a lot of fun though.

It's quite peculiar, in that I don't mind the amount of time it's taking to finish, because I enjoy the interesting albeit slow progression of each character.

Infinite Jest is actually the next book in line (opted to leapfrog Gravity's Rainbow). I actually have a decent understanding of what's to come in Foster's novel, so I'm not too worried about lengthiness with that one.

Not bad, just could be improved quite a bit w/o the Levi's 511's
