Thank you Pedro

bought some inexpensive chainstore selvedge. They had those adhesive strips with the size on the thigh (there is a reason you don't see these at Self Edge). So now I have 2 pairs of jeans with noticible adhesive residue strips. How do I ditch the marks without laundering?

The pillow station seemed to be a surprise hit with folks, that's funny - glad you found a home for yours. Thanks for coming out and I'm glad you enjoyed it. Consensus was people had a good time, and that makes it worth it. Which jean did you get?
Two pairs, a blue lean and a black basic.

Thanks Todd, you were an excellent host. I enjoyed the factory tour and the beer. Look forward to breaking in my jeans. Found the right spot for my pillow.

Babydials, my apologies, I wrote all that garbage and missed your main question - If you want to try on a pair, I you can always purchase the pair you're interested in and return them if the fit isn't to your liking. BiG and Blue Owl both accept returns for unused new-condition merch.
Pro-tip - don't size down on Momos. Expect to have a true to size fit at the waist after the first soak. Another pro-tip - Momos, maybe more than any other denim, will fit awkwardly at first wear or two, especially around the hips and seat. So don't let first impressions spoil what becomes a great fit after a week of wear.
Thank you

Hey guys! We released a new limited run at Railcar the other day, I wanted to share it with you. This is a beautiful light blue color with a red selvedge line. It is about 11 ounces with little stretch in it. We have this available for preorder we only have enough fabric to make about 15-20 jeans. Let me know if you guys have any questions!

I want a job I can wear my jeans to.

Sadly blue owl does not have a NYC outpost. Guess I can try the tight taper at BiG. I just don't like to make them spin their wheels so I can buy something else from someone else. Thanks.

Momotaro? Any specific model?
Blue in Green Soho stocks them, and just got a shipment of the copper label tight-tapered 0306-C, but I don't think you'll be able to find any of the copper label in other cuts there. However the tight-straight and tight tapered are the same cut from the knee up.
BinG stocks Japan Blue (did not see them on their site)? Are the Japan Blue division cuts identical to the Momotoro parent cuts, I tried Momotoro's in the past without the fit working on me. But I figure Unbranded and N&F do not use identical cuts, so there may be a chance for Japan Blue to work. Specifically looking for Japan Blue.

Anyone know where I can find these in NYC? I need to try on before buying but can't find a store here that sells them. Neither the Selfedge or Blue in Green sites are showing them.

do a google search for the jade selvedge that came out a couple years ago -- they're essentially the same as the rusted blue selvedge.
thanks

I keep seeing pics of new N&F rusted's, but I have yet to see a fade pic. Anyone have one?
PS. If you are thinner than me, 6pm has one pair left, size 28, priced at $45.
Also, I remember being put off by the bright copper flecks in a pair of N&Fs from last year, but I am curious to see how the jeans look once the shine goes away. Was anyone braver than me?

Due to my present state of unemployment I have been avoiding my usual denim haunts and sights. Today I saw the Warehouse 1939 Montgomery Ward jeans. Serious withdrawal pains. Anyone here have them and can post pics? I must live vicariously.

ok gents,
let's say you have been wearing your new jeans for 2 weeks and you come down with the flu or some other nasty bug. Do you wash the jeans to get rid of any remnants of it, or business as usual?

Wonder how many people never got their product? Also, I guess they figure that not everyone will see the notice and claim.

The Arizona Attorney General's office just hit them with a $250,000 fine which they can negate by paying $20,000 to reimburse their customers. If they owe you money you have until Sept 5, 2016 to file a claim with documentation at:

Has anyone tried the WIEUP Co. denim mist and denim solution? The mist sounds promising.

Did GRO Project denim go the way of the dinosaur?

I was in Barney's Madison Avenue branch yesterday. They have the Loomstate Tenpi treated neppy jeans with the very thick patch reduced from $275 to $169. These are around 16 oz and do not shrink. They are pretty stiff.

Wish I could find them in NY

Thank you Garden Gnomes (great moniker) - In regards to Freenote, did you see the stuff they did for Mildblend, especially the selvedge with wool nep and horween patches that came in both black and blue (both warp and weft)?

Mildblend has some nice looking jeans by a company called Freenote (granted some that I would like to get are sold out). I assume they are not junk as the company also sells Momotaro and Left Field, but does anyone have any experience with their jeans? How well they are made, fit, fade, etc.?

The Givenchy Stars and Stripes deserve their own horror flick. Apparently they are so hideous that my system refuses to past them. Just do a search.

Anyone here familiar with Hens Teeth. They look nice (if out of my budget) but I haven't seen any reviews. They even have 15 oz women's buckle backs

No US stockists, dang. I'd love to hear or see pics from someone who has them.
