  1. Soaked my 1873 Ducks that I just got in. They are the new batch made in Turkey. Started out TTS at 32x32. Post 1 hour hot soak they shrunk 1 inch in the waist and 2 1/2 inches in the inseam. Now they sit at a 31x29.5. They are really nice but I might soak again to see if I can get another 1/2 inch in the waist. Will post pics as soon as I get my lazy butt to take post soak pics, maybe tomorrow.

  2. Well my Duck Pants arrived today. Much to my dismay the box came almost ripped open like it was opened and then sealed again. Well at least the pants were not damaged. Might of had to open them for customs reasons. They are really nice and a good soak should do them well. I didn't know they were made in Turkey. I assume they have the new Cone duck fabric? I will get pics up later tonight or tomorrow.

  3. Levi's 1873 cotton duck on sale at oko ni. £90. Bargain. Still have 32/32 in. Looks like the new run with the new fabric to me. Buy your actual size - my experience is this fabric doesn't shrink..

LVC 1893 at Oki Ni. A total bargain.

THey have the 1920s striped Sunset shirt on sale, too

I bought the duck pants yesterday. I'm afraid though the 32x32 will be too big for me. Well I guess i'll make them work for that price.

Looks like the 32x32 and 36x34 are sold out now.

  4. Do the 1873 Duck Cotton run true to size or oversized? I bought them form Oki-Ni in a 32x32 and am afraid they will be too big as I wear usually a 30 waist. I got a good deal on them though. Oki-Ni is running their pre sale going on right now. Funny thing is, it is 40% off but it will only work on certain LVC items. It works on the Duck Cotton Pants and the Chinos but I tried it on the Nevada Jeans and the 20's 201 and no luck. Code for 40% off is topsecret06

  5. Trying to order from Natterjacks and I got this message.

Hello there, thank you for your order. Unfortunately we have had some trouble verifying your cards billing address. Because of us being in the U.K., and this being an international transaction, could you please send us a copy of an official document, like one of your utilities bills (phone bill, electricity bill etc...) or recent bank statements, with your name and address on it. We will be able to process the sale once we have this information from you.

Also we can only send the order to the person, and the address, that the card is registered to... I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but for security reasons, we have to verify all our sales addresses, and be sure that you, the card holder, has placed the order, and not someone that might have got hold of your details. You can send the proof of address either by fax to +44 208 974 6732, or email an attachment.

Anyone every get this before? I don't feel comfortable doing this so I guess they lost my sale. Never had this before and it was weirder because they did a Verified by Visa at the end of the transaction.

  6. Can anyone ID these RRL jeans for me? I picked these up at Marshalls. They still have the RRL tag and have a retail of $1,500 I assume they are really limited. The tag description says "4897899 RNTB

    RRL BELF 1"

  7. I'm looking at the Duck Canvas pants but they don't make it in a size 31. Just wanted to know if I go my true size 30 if it will shrink so much I cant wear them. Should I possible go a size 32 instead.

  8. I bought my 1901's from Cultizm and they list how each models fits. I messaged them about the measurements of a pair I was looking at and they got back to me with the numbers. They are 1st class all the way.

  9. Quick question on drying my 1901's in the dryer. I did a 3 hour hot soak on them and they shrunk from a 32x35 to about a 31x32.5. They are still about 1/2 to 1 inch loose in the waist. I was wondering if I did another hot soak and did a hot dry in the dryer would it mess the jeans up and screw up the fading process? I figure my dryer would look like blue splatter everywhere. I guess I could just soak in a boiling pot for a little while too.

  10. @ Bamahater

Good to see you chose the 1901, as not enough early models on this thread.

Yeah the patches on the last and cuerrent season's 1890's, 1901's and the 1915's are all smaller than they should be (but only by 5mm side and top). It was so noticable when you line all the models up side by side together, especially when you consider the patches on the 1917's, 27's, 33's and 37's are the correct size. One of those mystery Lvc things..

(The patch on the 2010 44's looked to be the best one of the lot IMO).

The denim on these look really nice.

Btw the metal on the buckle is a pressed alloy, I believe , which is why it feels cheap, but should be ok.

Also, looking at the pics you posted, there is no 'XX' after 501 on that 1901 model . Or are my eyes decieving me?

    .

The XX is on the patch right after the 501

  11. Here are pics of my 1901's I got in today. They are what looks to be new 2010 stock with the correct Levis patch. They are tagged 32x36 but actually are a 32x35. These fit nearly tts. Is it me or is the Levis patch kinda small. BTW, the cinch is really cheap. Overall they are really nice. A good hot soak and they should be ready to go.

  12. Anyone have any info on the 1901's. The one's I want to get from Cultizm say they are true to tagged size. I guess they might be a 2010 version. Also how much will a 36 inseam shrink to with a good hot soak.? I really probably need a 34 inseam but they don't have that.

  13. weren't the ones on sale on levi.com undersized? if so...you're in luck!

    cause they make a 30x34.

I think these were more true to size. These are a 2006 release. They fit me really good. Should have realized and bought another pair to keep for later.

  14. I just bought my 1st pairs of LVC and they are amazing. I got the Raw 47's from the Levis sale and these are some really nice jeans. After a cold soak, they fit really good. And to think I was gonna buy some cheap ass STF's at some point. Also I bought the 33 Rider Run Jeans. These are really nice jeans, although for me they fit a tad big and the chinch is pretty cheap. Still they are nice. I think i'm hooked on LVC. I hope to have some pics soon.
