Apologies for the sizing question, had a look through the thread but not really sure what to get, I'm a true 30 waist, 28 in pbj's for example, like my jeans skinny. Would I be better off with a 301 in sz 27 or 28?
i think 28 would be good, or you can wait for the 666s. it's skinnier than the 301s

one of the best SExIH07 i've ever seen, fredirambo

i think i've seen it in person, made in japan but the company is based in UK.
the quality is pretty decent, but i think i'd splash my cash in another (japanese) brands. It's better if they can put better hardware&detailing.

if there's a slot provided for our belt why don't we use it?
well, there's a lot of ripped IH patch whether the owner use a thick or thin belt, but it's a part of your jeans history and you can re-sew it yourself

You see this quite often, but I don't like it. It's a bit like showing off your expensive jeans plus I think it makes the patch rip more easily (at least when you wear a thick belt)
haraki-san won't put that belt insert (or whatever it is) for no reason. if you use the belt without inserting it, the proportionality will be quite odd
*just my 2 cents
