  1. ^ not really... I own a few Visvim jackets. I'm wondering if it's in the same range as the curso jacket... There's not much info on it. I usually get my stuff from yahoo jp but now they have their stuff on their website, the north America shipping option is blanked out so do we still need a proxy or do they take orders by email?

as far as i know the north america on that map is a cruel joke as they don't ship a goddamn thing to NA, proxy son, its your only hope...

  2. Well the epic cotton will give you a great balance in breathable, water repellent and windproof.

The windstopper will provide you with windproof, highly breathable and water resistent.

I believe bay area weather is mostly strong winds right? and no regular heavy downpoor? then I would go with the windstopper.

yes, rain is usually during the early part of year, most of the time its 50º-70º with wind depending on where you are. sounds like either is still a great choice, just a matter of how much cash i want to throw at this

  3. I don't understand what similarities you guys see.

The E-J23 has a zipper on the back and is made in epic cotton while the veilance composite jacket is made with gore windstopper and a normal asymetrical front zip.... the model isn't even the same....

more about the overall silhouette, not concerned about the zippers. the overall garment weight and level of weather its appropriate for is what i'm looking at. deploy and e-j seem perfectly suited for Bay area spring/still spring until september weather.

  4. Having never worn or bought any Acronym products I cant decide between E-23 jacket and the Arcteryx Veilance Deploy Composite jacket. There seems to be some similarities between the jackets. Anyone any thought s on the matter and does anyone actually have their E-23 yet.

i have the same question, the e-j23 is on the top of my list with the veilance deploy composite jacket. but the ~150$ price difference has me wondering if the pieces similarities make the deploy jacket a better value. that and the fact that the e-j23 in large is pretty much sold out in the spots i've been checking.

  5. anyone interested in a SS12 patircian blue size 9.5, i accedently ordered 2 pairs keeping one moving the other

this makes no sense to me, how do you accidentally spend 2000$ on shoes? did i miss something?

  6. Isn't that the point though? To mimic barefoot running.

true but i thought you had to build that up. if you go running like 5+ miles in these or vibrams without some working up, you will regret it. i have a foot injury to back up the claim.

  7. anyone ever used one of those shoe care kits? i would think i could find equivalent leather care goods on amazon for a fraction of the price, but figured i'd ask before making that assumption final.
