the thing is i cant really judge for myself, this being my first pair of samurais. the only thing i can judge off of right now are my new standards, which are basically n00bshit in this neck of the woods. im torn between the 710 and the 500, as you might have guessed; which would you recommend someone to buy first? as far as i can see the 500 sized down one and the 710 tts are nearly identical so i suppose this is just a matter of what kind of denim. thanks for the help guys

and the general consensus is owners of both tend to prefer the 15 oz texas cotton to the 19-21 oz denim?

ive heard rumors of a hip flare on the 500xx, is it really that big of a factor? im planning to size down 1, if that makes any difference

5' 11, 175 lbs, 22.4 inch thighs, 32 inch waist.

samurai 710xx size 32, 0500xx size 31, or 5000vx 21 oz size 32?

I'm also curious about the texas cotton thing, is it really great enough to be better than 19-21 oz denim even though its only 15 oz?

oh and im currently wearing new standards and would like something similar or maybe slightly looser, thanks in advance

hey sorry for the sizing question but I'm officially confused.

I heard things like you should size up one from what you would normally get with 21 oz denim, but is this true with these jeans as well, or is that just on the 5000vx? or is that even true at all?

for a guy with 25 in thighs, should i get the 0500 or the 710

i wear my APC NS sized down 1, and am looking to move up into some more serious denim. i was wondering what brands would give a similar fit (something a little slim, and im not a fan of huge leg openings)?
