hi riff, just out of curiosity. how many days did it take from order to receiving the belt?

i'm asking because i know they are busier now, so i think my experience this time (27 days and counting) can be an unique case. and i wanted to know how long it usually takes people to receive their stuff...for my future reference.

i'm at two weeks. its getting kind of annoying.

just felt like posting an update, my 301s at almost 2 months.

From the knee down the denim is still super stiff and isn't falling nicely...

But they've only been out of the box for 24 hours...

those look freakin great. slim/straight, but not too loose, and not too tight. i kinda regret not getting a pair, now. maybe kiya will do a new release in the future, though.

May get them altered, but I'll await the streching first.

nice fit, after they stretch out, remember to wear a belt to minimize further stretching. inseams looks fine, too. after they soften up, those stacks will look much much better.

even though this site is great, i just like seeing the progression of jeans in general. this should be great

what's wrong with a little leg twist ?

I've got some pretty major leg twist on the left leg as well, but I kinda dig it.

leg twists remind me of true religions. except without the outlandish stitching

i got a pair of 19cms and the fit is rather close to my apc both size 29 think i should have sized down one more for dior?

nope. dior's don't stretch nearly as much as apcs

Hi I just bought a pair of slim jim dry japans and it is a little hard to fit into them. I was wondering if I should do a soak( hot or cold or at all) now or let them stretch first.

you should wear them stretch them out. doing any soak and you can forget about putting on the jeans

J. Crews denim is from the kaihara denim mill, and it is assembled in canada, I paid half price so only 120 and i'm working on the pics.

and rrlselvagedenim, why are you buying levis when you can get a pair of evisu for that price???

so from what i'm taking from this, they seem to be like the 3sixteens, except $60 more. that make sense given they're name is much more mainstream than 3sixteen.

which type of apc denim should i get if i want some jeans thats not too baggy and not skinny. i wear a sz.30 and thats not my true size but i like alil room to breath. im thinking i should get some NS in a sz.28? and what about the length, if i get them will they shrink? im use to having 32 as the length but now im getting tired of how it drags on the floor every time i walk around the house. any help would be appreciated. thanks!

Get the NS in 29, then. You'll probably need to get them hemmed a little. They do shrink with a soak, but not all the way down to a 32.

cold soak. mine we're just like that pre soak, and the cold soak was perfect. 20-30 minutes should do it.

hey guys, looking at getting a pair of APCs but they are unavaliable in my locale so i will be buying on the interwebz.

^^ is how i dress, like my jeans a little looser and i sag heaps.

my stats are 6'6 and roughly 210lbs

my question is, to achieve a similar fit should i go

a) rescues sized down 2

OR

NS sized down 1

any help would be greatly appreciated.
