Also, the fit pics of the Knights the last two pages makes me really wish I had copped a pair...

Personally, while I agree with the statement above (our money, our choices), I really like the idea of a 17oz Texas cotton. That way, I can wear them during the summer as well. Also, lets go for the Lee wave. So much better than the Wrangler, imo.

It seems like a lot of people are getting disheartened (and maybe rightfully so, given all the banter...), yet I for one just want to thank aho for putting up with all of this (and Gordon, of course). I think once we know what our actual limitations are, this process will go much more smoothly (I hope).

Also, I'm completely on board with what aho said. I think it's a great mix between a more popular cut (0500) and things that you don't see everyday with Levi type jeans.

In terms of patches, I love that first idea.

Question though: I'm assuming what we are allowed to choose is based off of what Samurai and Gordon allow us to use, right? So, for example, even if we voted to use 24oz denim, the final say is whether or not Samurai would actually produce the jean, no?

I'm down with those four if we do the next round of voting. Though, I think before we start that round you should establish a cutoff date or something. That way the discussion back and forth between the cuts can just be decided once and for all once the cutoff date is reached.

Hey guys, I have a quick question for you all.

I just ordered a pair of 710 19oz and when I put them in my tub for a hot soak the things just didn't shrink at all. We're talking a two to three centimeters at most. Given that, should I throw them in my washer for a hot wash? I need to get these hemmed (there is no way that I can a 36 leg) but I want to get all the shrinkage out first. By the way, the waist is still a little large so I am not too worried about that...
