Does anyone know how the Nudie DEAN leather jacket fits? Or how their jackets fit in general? Looking to pick one up online but the price tag makes me think twice about nailing the fit.

I shipped stuff to Reudi before from Canada and it came up to $15 so that's not bad to begin with. Plus Reudi offers to cover costs as well.

"when they fade well, they look like the yarns of a rope.
Like shown here:"
Very subtle, Max! Or not at all

^Since you already bought em, why not wait it out, try em on then see how you like em. No point in us giving you feedback if you've already bought em and can post pics when they come in!

My 5 year old dukes. After the first 2.5 years, I've just been washing and wearing em like regular jeans. Love em

imo they are quite a bit overdyed, so they start fading slow. But after the overdye has worn off, they definitely fade faster. But once again, i think because of the tons of indigo, they won't fade to a high contrast as some people want. I personally don't mind.

^this. That's an awesome deal for those jeans.

That's really unfortunate but I had a good laugh. thanks man

Good point. I've gotten wedgies post soak with jeans that didn't have one pre-soak so you may have an issue there considering how much that denim shrinks.

The soak should eliminate some of the bagginess around your upper thigh. But it looks tight around your hips as is so you might have some discomfort post-soak.

A soak definitely wouldn't hurt, but some preemptive crotch reinforcement will do wonders on their life.

Sorry noob question, but just to clarify, do the elephant 2s only come in the skinny and weird guy cuts? Wanted them but was looking for a cut like the slim guy. If it comes only in those two cuts, is there any way to size either of them to get a slim straight fit?
Yea you can't get em in slim guy. My suggestion would be to find a local retailer who stocks skinny guy models and play around with sizing up if you want more of a straighter fit. See if you like it.
I'm not sure if this will get you want you want cuz I've personally never tried it myself, but that's what I would do in your situation.

Personally, i think the arms fit fine. it's the combination of the baggy arms and fitted chest that looks a little off. regardless, i'll definitely have to check these out when i'm down in san fran later this summer

^ The indigo isn't bad, but i'd imagine if they were less overdyed they'd be easier to fade.

In regards to the FH 1001 sizing, I guess i had a outlier pair, cuz i bought a tagged 30 and the measurements were that of the 32. Definitely weird and most likely rare, but definitely something that can happen if you buy online.

Been wondering about the PaulRose stuff actually. How are the pocket bags? The N&F ones are too lightweight for my liking, they tend to get pretty gnarled up on the corners of things i keep in em.

^damn that's way faster evo than i have. Good work!
x post from jeans evo thread:
My FH 1001s. 2 hot presoaks and a tumble dry in an effort to shrink it to size. Worked out but forgot to turn em inside out like an idiot and they got permacreases (+fades) along the sides of the leg. Oh well, still love em to death.
At 1 year-ish.

Damn. no slim guy?

I gotta agree with kiya, a size down and your top block will be way too uncomfortable. They look snug as is.

Great looking wallets! Though looks like the card pockets in the dark brown chromexcel are leaving an impression on the other side?

^your combs are gonna be absurd.

^I thought the same. Looks like he made the mistake of doing a tumble dry too. Those lines look all too familiar............

Don't think this is the right thread but thought I'd give it a go since y'all are jacket enthusiasts like me.
