My 47's...

Here are some pics of my contest 37's.

I was actually hoping for a more vintage fit like Aho's but I really can't complain....I'm pretty happy with these.

Maybe if they stretch just a bit more in the waist I'll be able to use the cinch!

IMO much better fit than Aho's. Never thought I would like the fit of the pre-war models, but this is making me reconsider. How did you size? True to size?

Totally off topic but...

I grew up in Richmond and it is fucking awesome to see spots there; Crossroads and 3rd street. Coked up slutty waitresses at 3rd street? Some things never change....

@BAerts - Thanks! Looks like it fits just how I hope. How was the shrinking after soaking, and did you wear while soaking?

Comparing with my stretched out size 30 APC NS, the 1947 looks about half an inch smaller, pre-soak.

Any chance you have a fit pic of your true to waist sized 47? I sized mine same as you and I'm curious to see what the perfect fit you described looks like.
