the dude looks like hes from indonesia. to be honest if you're from southeast asia, the humidity levels are crazy high and it never gets cold. the weather here is blazing hot all the time and denim fades a lot easier even by just doing normal activities. even in singapore im feeling it a lot in 14oz denim. 19oz is another story altogether. but his at 4 months is really crazy for the stacks to become so defined. indonesia is definitely a lot more crazy hot though.

Nuk1, from what I understand the s710xx is not made from texas cotton. But your pair looks like it has some characteristics of texan cotton, i.e. the rough-ness.

Do you, or anyone else, know how the roughness compares with the s510xx and s500xx which are texan cotton?

Also - regarding the fit. I've read measurements and seen pictures but it's always not too representative (varies from pic to pic). I know its tapered in the leg, but from you fit pictures it looks quite slim fit at the top. would you say its a regular fit with a tapered leg or quite a slim fit?

Gotta admit I've been slinging my 710s like this lately, too. The kneebagging is atrocious, but I'm too lazy to get them hemmed. Too afraid it'll fuck up the fit, perhaps.

denim-wise? no, probably not. the same exact pair of jeans will fade much differently when handed to two separate parties. cut-wise, yes -- if you're buying a pair of lot 10 you will want to consider that they shrink from tagged size -- a size 30 raw measures 30" in the waist pre-soak.
