I finally receive word from my university that they have yet to receive my transcripts from the university I studied at in Sweden. What the fuck, it's 2011, how hard are processes like this? Both schools send and receive countless students every year so why is it so complicated.

Embrace disappointment, I failed my driver's exam three fucking times, I blew the clutch on my first truck, I cracked the back bumper of my car on a snowbank because I was going too fast, I cracked my moms bumper driving too stupid in the winter, I backed into another motherfuck in a parking lot (partly his fault), I hit a curb in the winter and fucked up my car again. Long story short, clearly I have bad luck (or I suck) but I'll be fucked if I stop driving.

obviously some of it is purely common sense, if you don't feel you need to purchase a cutting board then don't. If you want to use the awl and a straight edge to score your stitching line then you wouldn't need a stitch groover. Clearly all of the tools recommended serve legitimate functions. The more tools you work with the more specific tasks you can accomplish. You might not even need an awl, you could just use a nail and a hammer?

not going to lie and say its not for the best but I feel like shit. currently in the process of selling the furniture in my apartment because I have to leave a minimal amount of things with family here in vancouver before I go home for most of december. my apartment is empty, moved the bed into the living room to make the space seem more full. sold the couch, bed frame, dresser etc. I have gone through a breakup before and I obviously know 'everything will be ok' blah blah but ya, still sucks

helped the couple who purchased the couch move it to there apartment a few blocks away. it felt good to help someone.

yo, I know offering any kind of sympathy over the net might seem pointless but I know how shitty it can be to lose a dog. My dogs mean the fucking world to me and I would go bat shit crazy if something happened like that. My oldest lab Nikki is getting up there in age and I am always worried something will happen to her while I am living away from home.

It is really too bad that your ex pulled that shit. It is completely understandable to feel those emotions but try not to focus on the anger too much, easy to get consumed in that shit and it strays too far away from the heart of the issue which is your dog.

I think that a really successful relationship requires a certain amount of space/distance/time apart on a regular basis. but at the same time you need to have a functioning relationship i.e. one that is not co-dependent/full of jealousy/fighting etc. or else it will just fall apart.

did long distance twice in the same relationship.

once for 8 months in the same country and the other time for 6 months from europe. shit fucking sucked. definitely hurt the relationship.

Just applied to live in residence for my last semester of university. I feel kind of lame because I have lived in a nice apartment downtown since I moved to Vancouver. the girl I was with moved home today (not sure what the fuck is up between us) and I don't feel like finding a roommate/fucking around with furniture etc. for one last semester.

even though it sucks, I think it will be a less stressful situation. Moving into a room and moving out of a room with minimal possessions will be nicer than moving out of an entire apartment.
