Waldes zippers. The pictures does not do the jacket justice, the horsehide is beautiful and has a patina none of my other leather jackets have.

Schottnyc does custom as well. I think they charge according to the amount of work required. I had a jacket built from scratch including custom pattern and everything, it cost double the price of their standard jacket.

Order a few times from the English Rakuten. The items arrived in 5-7 days, by comparison ground shipping from US to Canada takes 2 weeks. I love the English Rakuten.. because I can never find my size in shops.

anyone know of something that looks similar to this schott perfecto at a cheaper price point? i'm a broke college student... btw i've seen this thread before but i didn't know what the hell "perfecto" was until i saw a thread on styleforum about schott haha.

i'm looking for a fitted black jacket (i'm 5'7 130) with an open collar and some diagonal zippers. no predisressing, patches/print, or shoulder straps. thanks in advance.

I am about the same height and weight around 140 and I find the Schott size 34 / XS to be the perfect size for me. I have had many motorcycle style jackets and none can compare to the Schott perfecto. Look up a local dealer from Schottnyc web site and find one to try on. I doubt if you can find a better price than what is listed on US Wings. The other option is ebay/craiglist.

For a motorcycle jacket you can not go wrong with a Schott jacket. Well priced and extremely well made. If you want it to be a little different try the vintaged 618V1, the retro 646 (extremely well priced) or the Legendary Black Stallion HorseHide.
