  1. thinking about picking up the 5p stone jeans in one wash. Anyone know if they stretch that much in the waist?

As far as I can tell they don't stretch too much. Worn mine 5-6 times and haven't really noticed any stretch.

  2. Just came across this brand and love this shirt:

    http://www.contextcl...tem.php?id=4032

Anyone tried it on, and can comment on the fit/sizing? I'm a 3 in Nonnative which is the only Japanese brand I purchase in any quantity. Also, how thick is the material? Is it actually a S/S purchase?

I am a nonnative size 1 and wear the Kapital henley in size 2. I have it in grey and it wears short. Can't remember exactly but I think it shrank just a little bit after the first wash.

  3. I am 5'7" and 150. Sz 34 is a snug fit. Go to rakuten.co.jp (in Japanese but nothing an online translator can not take care of) and search for Schott and you see lots of fit pics with detail sizing measurements.

  4. Thanks, but neither Yoox nor Revolve has the Ladermesh jacket.

Vincent and Vincent isnt' really my style, too much of that motor flavor — but the one that I kind of liked (Neck Strap Bomber) is ±660$ - beyond my budget.

To be honest, I'm quite disappointed in the availability of distressed leather jackets.

    How about this one.. http://www.bluefly.com/Mackage-black-lamb-leather-Ari-motorcycle-zip-jacket/PRODUCT_CROSS-SELL/303144601/detail.fly

I had seen some of the Mackage jackets. They were quite nice and usually with a long torso and slim cut.

  5. Because I cannot find Medium size. Would you know of a similar jacket?

Try searching Yoox or Revolve. Have a look at Vincent and Vincent (google it) also, they look pretty nice but they are not distressed.

  6. nice scans thanks !

i was wondering, has anyone ever tried to tailor his schott perfecto to make it look slimmer at the arm ? one of my friend gave his perfecto to the tailor and i was thinking of doing the same.

Have a Perfecto custom made by Schott. Go to a local dealer to try on different styles and sizes until you find the style and size you like and then send a custom request to Schott.

  7. default

what sizes did you get? measurements please? the new season please. thanks alot

Size 30 for the Dungaree and Small for the Mechanic shirt from Japan. Actual measure

Dungaree 30" waist, 10~11" thigh, 32" inseam and 8" hem. Fits well.

Small mechanic shirt 15" neck, 16.25" shoulder, 19.5" pit, outside sleeve 23", arm hole 8" shoulder to pit, waist 18"

  8. Oops my bad, thought he meant the deck pants N-1K instead since he said he got both from MF. If it's shore pants then it's raw for sure.

Yep the shore pants were... not any more. In the raw state it was too big. Had to shrink it down. It is now a perfect 30".

  9. hey seabass - what size did you get the dungarees in and what are the measurements? Thanks...

I got the size 30 from Japan. Actual measure 30" at the waist, ~11" thigh, 32" inseam and 8" hem. Am not 100% sure whether it had been pre-washed. Fits well right now. Nice details but overall the details are not as elaborate as the PS-09.

  10. holy shit man! what was the grand total on that, if you don't mind my asking?

much respect... post up some pics!

About $1,300. Needed some new jeans to replace the old ones ... I absolutely can not stand jeans with holes in them.

Sorry about the pics. Never owned a camera in my entire life.

  11. Just got the N-1K deck pants, PS-09 shore pants, Riders Dungarees and the mechanic's shirt. Love them. The Riders Dungarees and the mechanic's shirt appear to be on the small side. If PS-09 is any indication I am a little worry that the Riders Dungarees may shrink too much after the first wash.

  12. Hey fellow SuperDenim-ers!

I am looking to purchase my first denim for myself. Recently I just picked up the knowledge on raws/drys/cold/washed and such on denims.

I need recommendations for my new denim. Here are some preferences that I have in mind for your reference to help me! :)

    - Budget up to USD150.

    - Colour to be Indigo or Dark Blue

    - My TW is 29.5 inches.

    - Do not really want stacking, inseam preferably 30 inches.

    - Slim fit, not a fan of those jeans that sticks to my legs.

Hope the above information is enough. Please let me know if I need to furnish more preferences.

    Thanks in advance! Cheers!

30/30 or 29/30 may be kind of hard to find. I only know of Jean Shop Rocker fit and Gilded Age which produce ~30" inseam for some of their jeans. If you don't mind longer inseam there are plenty to choose from. If you get a pair of raw you can always have it taken up jeans. I believe the Kicking Mule 1 wash 1950 are still on sales at Revolve @ half price. I am a 30/30 but I can fit into the Raw 29/32. The KMW stretched and fit very nicely after 1 or 2 wear.

  13. do those 50/50 sugarcane tees come in blanks?

can you post pics? how is it comparable to 50/50 cotton/poly ?

Sorry they don't come in blanks. But they fit and feel great, very stretchy. I don't have a pic but they fit quite small, I wear a size 34 jacket and the small size Ts fit snug, you can find some pics on the rakuten.co.jp.
