to contribute a place of interest under the "pub meal" category
Percy's 12.50 pot & parma every day of the week, classic Carlton pub, run by some AFL player from the 70s, full of old blokes. good sticky-date.

Yeah it's worth watching but it isn't the best. You could film anybody's dog dying and it would still be tear-worthy. The rest of it is just some dude crying and riding his fixie.

Lawrence Durrell - Mountolive.
Also, because of Durrell,
But for some reason I find the bittersweet tone of Cavafy overwhelming, and I only read three or four at a time. A lot of the poems are about aging, the end of youth, remembering past loves, and it's not something you want to think about when you're young.

the guy was just lost and happend to be knowledgeable and able to explain himself well. no different from any other suicide imo
Yeah it's not like there's a scarcity of artists and intellectuals who have killed themselves. dime a dozen. also if he's so smart why would he feel the need to scar a Harvard touring group

I havent been able to sleep lately. My brain just wont shut up and it goes into carnival mode when I lay down. Weed doesnt help either.
similar situation prior to taking melatonin, although it only happened about 2 nights a week.
if by "carnival mode" you mean thinking about everything without actually realising anything, it helps. except the dreaming is strange, very very strange. not nightmares, just deeply psychological.

fat sale was almost barren in 40 minutes. I couldn't find a single claude maus item, and 1 type of CON shoe only. got a PAM tee for 30 bux though.

that massive shoulder overhang would be a risk in my book
I previously owned a brown APC f2, too big and I sold it. don't even know what season it was from.

I like the blazers, they remind me of some Engineered Garments jackets. I see the white trousers, what's in the next pic, tracksuit pants???

I ate a pizza for lunch, right, then five hours later I have a coughing fit and a whole piece of that strassbourg square ham shit fell into my hand. it's happened before, but never that big.
@tabris dude it's like my pc used to be due to fuck up every 3 months. just when I got complacent, it did the exact same thing as you, just stopped working - once it was the HD, once it was random windows corruption.

If only somebody could break Moviegoods' hold on good poster prints.

I like the reference to The Big Sleep about rubbing two chips together to make them breed (in the casino). Pretty clever if you catch it.

I'm sorry but this is incredibly lame. Sick to your stomach from being in Old Navy? Fuck, man, sort your priorities out. Also, nobody in the real world cares if your jeans cost $250 or $25.
OP is straight out of a Confederacy of Dunces. It's hilarious. I only reference because I finished it yesterday.
awkward eye contact with girls has increased a thousandfold this past 8 months. I think it's starting to get to me.

Have you read the Avignon Quintet? I'm not sure whether to read it or just look for a copy of Alexandra Quartet (which is going to be a lot harder and I already have Avignon in my bookcase)

anybody here frequent or work in a casino or gamble big time?
I work at part time as a dealer at an Australian casino for a uni job, it's alright, you see a real mix of players and chat to a lot of people, but I don't think it's a very healthy industry to work in. a lot of players are douchebags as well.
personally I prefer dealing to your average punter, because they actually make conversation and they are happy to win $50 instead of the hardcore gamblers who slam their fists on the table every time they lose, and even if they're on a good streak they aren't happy because they're chasing a massive loss. But as far as BJ goes, I don't know how people go in expecting some Hangover shit, they get trashed and play with absolutely no knowledge of strategy, and then bitch about casino odds. if you don't know anything, don't even open your own box, just go find some old vietnamese/chinese lady and watch her and if she's winning just back her.
anyway that's just my experience, I'm interested to hear if anybody on sufu actually does consider gambling serious business.

if in Melbourne worth popping in on Captains of Industry
I'm going to go in there next week to suss it out anyway but do you know what the rate for the barber is? just a basic cut that is.
I'm a bit overwhelmed by miff, applied to be a volunteer but didn't get a place. a mate did though so he can give me advice.

the guy on the left appears in the town broadsheet at least once a year as a "fashuns dude" whenever they want to rehash some piece about men wearing 1800s formal attire.
