Iron Heart is the toughest of those four.

Maybe S0500xx if you're looking for roomier in the thighs and slim/straight.

Ok I am so lost as to which pair of denim I should buy. I want slim and Japanese and my options are
Samurai S710XX
Pure Blue Japan XX-005
Skull 5010XX 6X6
sigh. Anyone want to help me out with a decision?
I'd get the Samurai 710s of those three.

I downsized one on my Okinawas (bought 30, and typically wear 31), and they have stretched a ton.
I think you'd be better in a size 33.
The denim on the Okinawa is amazing.

Belts
in superdenim
So do people buy a new belt for each pair of jeans they have? It seems that whenever I see pictures of people's collections, they have a different belt for each pair. Or do y'all transfer belts from pair to pair?I transfer my Sugar Cane Garrison belt when I switch jeans.

OK. Sugar Cane Garrison belt (black) from Self Edge for 145 bones
OR
Samurai Belt (black) from BiG for 185 Bones.
Need answer by tomorrow. Both are great. Leaning towards SC.
I bought the Samurai curved belt from BiG, but exchanged it for the Sugar Cane Garrison belt. I thought the Samurai was overkill (too wide and unwieldy). I've been very happy with the Sugar Cane.

Nice photos. I've seen Sigur Ros play a few times, and each of their shows has been amazing.
How is the Jonsi solo album? Haven't heard it yet.

Good to find another AMM fan. They're up there with Cecil Taylor and Evan Parker in my mind, as some truly amazing music.

Which of these two classics would you get: SDA 103 or Eternal 811?

this thread seriously makes me want to puke sometimes.. let's keep the discussion about the south bay and leave the pictures of cars and bitches out of this.
i DO support the 408 picture though norteno all the way.
but seriously... favorite japanese food in the south bay? i personally like gochi but that's more japanese fusion...
hatcho in SC is actually pretty decent if you let the lady order for you, and hoshi is quite good too.
I live about a block away from Gochi. It's nice being able to walk there. For sushi, I usually go to Sushi Kuni in Cupertino, Zono in Campbell, or Tomi in Mountain View.
En (on El Camino) is similar to Gochi. My girlfriend liked it better than Gochi.

can anyone recommend me a good record player for my vinyls? dad took my old one to his new house so I don't have one anymore
I'm not sure what your budget is, but I'd get a Rega turntable. Easy set up, amazing sound, and they will last forever (I own a Rega Planar 25):
Rega P1 - $400

A good burr grinder for a reasonable price?
I use a Baratza Maestro burr grinder for my French press, and also for espresso. $99.

You may want to wait a couple of months. Iron Heart is releasing the 666 Devil's Fit and Beatle Buster jeans. One of those should fit what you're looking for (slim and about 20 oz).
