  1. Be careful with that, I've heard (unconfirmed) horror stories about jumping bikes with cars frying bits. My guess is that car batteries have higher amperages though? I dunno, I'm not lookin it up.

Get your shit started and check to make sure it's putting out whatever the proper voltage is.

  2. question: bike starts once, dies a couple seconds after... then doesnt start again... spark is good on both cylinders, carbs are getting fuel... we think it might be that the float bowls need adjusting, any input?

info :: 75 honda cb360t, kickstart only... wiring isnt complete yet, just wired input to ignition and coils, is that a problem?

    thanks

This may sound dumb but have you checked your battery? Sounds like a charging problem to me. Also, those old CB's are widely known to have lots of charging issues.

  3. word. just dont think ill be doing it again on it. next is to do it on my pops' bonneville which should be a helluva lot more smooth

hahaha, megalols on this latepass for me. Dying to know how much "smoother" a 2cyl bigbang brit twin was than a honda 4cyl pingy sewing machine. Last time I rode a CB550 I had to touch the motor to make sure the thing was on.

  5. All y'all designy fancy lads got any good ways of storing 7" records that doesn't involve boxes and looks good. Nontraditional is fine, space saving a plus. I'm not stoked on not being able to see my records and thus have only really been playing LPs lately.

  6. Dudes, fuck, allow me to shill harder for baratza. These dudes shipped me a bunch of spare parts, fucking free, 2 night shipping and were pleasant to talk to on the phone. Turns out the parts didn't quite do the right fix so I called them back today about fixing it up again. I mentioned that I was interested in upgrading from a virtuoso to a vario. The dude on the other end asked me to hold a few minutes and he'd call me back.

Called back 3 mins later and said he'd hook me up with a refurbed vario at a killer price if i shipped back my old busted virtuoso and covered shipping one way. That, right thar, is some uncommonly cool shit.

    Baratza, yer alright.

  7. Brand new LGC Hand dyed oak black short ponderosa wallet. Black suede inside cardholders/pockets. Really like it, definitely not all burnished goodness like some of the other stuff here but for $80 shipped, I got zero complaints. Also, USA made.

  8. Finally have the EDC to a point where all of my bases are covered. Sadly, the reason for the change overs was because fucking TSA swine took my fucking squirt and the cheapo but pretty pocketknife i got in france. In a rush I forgot that both of them were in my bag.

    Knives:

    - SOG Twitch 1

    - Leatherman Micra

    - Leatherman Juice S2 (usually in my bag)

    Lights:

    - 4Sevens Quark MiniX 123

    - Maratac AAA

    Other:

    - Trueutility telescoping keychain pen

    - 8GB LaCie jump drive

    - Tea Tree Chewing Sticks

    - Etymotic Earplugs

    - GShock Watch

    - Jack Spade Wallet that ruins all my fucking cards and needs to go.

  9. Mother fuck. Are you kidding me? That's insane! If I ever own a harley, which i probably won't. It'll be a shovel or an ironhead. That thing is gorgeous? I thought wifey banned you from bikedom no?

Look what's patiently waiting for me in my garage. Straight up trade for my Evo. I'm still in shock.

    1980 hardtailed rebuilt hotrod shovelhead

I'll get better pictures when I get home in a week.

The seat, sissy bar, headlight, and exhaust are already on my to be sold list. I'm going to put stainless bars on there like whatever is currently in the risers. 19" front wheel with mechanical brake, 18" rear wheel with juice brake. 1 1/2 open primary, foot clutch/hand shift. The only thing I don't like is the hardtail. If I had the time and money i'd have the axle plates replaced with the repop ones that look OEM. I want to get this thing done by Born Free 4.

  10. Been looking for just the right 7002. Hate the day/date on the newer ones for some reason so finding a water sealed, tested, original case 7002 with a warantee for under a buckfiddy was a PITA.

    Finally nabbed it.
