in all seriousness though, if you have the money for jawnz, you can donate once or a few times a year to a not-for-profit. Do your research in where your charitable donations go and you may actually be making a difference in someone's life. I know it's corny, but we really, in the first world, take so much of our basic necessities for life we forget just how much agony parts of the world live with every day. After seeing the work my cousin did in Nicaragua with these guys, I have chosen to donate a small amount of money. no donation is too small. Hell, donate blood if nothing else. they give you goddamn cookies and juice for 10 minutes of your time.

I just picked up my first pair of Clarks desert boots (in beeswax) the other day, and had a couple questions for those who might know better than I.

How tightly should they fit? My pair has just enough movement in the heel to make them uncomfortable after any significant amount of walking. My toe is also about a half inch from the actual toe of the boot.

Do I need to size down another half size, or do they maybe just need to be broken in?

It's annoying because I actually tried some on in the same size awhile ago and they seemed to fit fine (they were suede instead of leather, though, not sure if that matters)
