    Rugby by Ralph Lauren University Chino Short in Aviator Navy

    Consider these your go-to pair of shorts -- soft chino cotton, traditional details (coin pocket, elongated tab at the waist, welt pockets at the back), but with a slightly longer and slimmer leg that makes them, dare we say, a little dressed-up. You'll be living in these. 100% cotton. Machine wash. Imported.

    Size - 28

    Condition - 9.5/10

    Retail - $59.50

    These are great ... but I don't ever wear shorts. I only wear jeans, even in this sweltering hot summer. But there is no need for these shorts. I purchased, wore once, washed and don't wear them so its up for sale!!! Rugby sold out of this color in all their shorts and they have no size 28s left.

    Price - $30 or best offer

    Pics are here ... navy isn't there since its sold out but its the typical navy color sold by Polo.

    THANKS!!!

  2. Check the internal tag - it will say something like 0309 at the bottom of the code, meaning MArch 09.

    i guess mine say 0906 ... it is amidst a bunch of other numbers so i guess this is the correct one.

    that means mine was made in 06 season? is that good or bad for a 1947 501xx?

  3. For sale is a basically brand new pair of APC New Standards in raw black. They are a size 26 but waist is really a 28.

    I have worn these less than 5 times. I purchased them from the APC store in NYC. They cost me 155 plus shipping. I got them in May but have not been able to wear them due to work and other jeans I have in rotation.

    No smells, no alterations, no soaking, nothing!

    These are 120 or best offer!

    measurements according to Blue In Green:

    Waist = 14.8 in

    Front Rise = 9.8 in

    Back Rise = 13 in

    Upper Thigh = 10.8 in

    Knee = 7.5 in

    Leg Opening = 7 in

    Inseam = 34 in

    Thanks

  4. i just got a pair of lvc 1947 501 ... it was 80 bucks from UBIQ.

    but they only had a size 28 and i am a true size 28. so do i just wear them in the tub with warm water to stop too much shrinkage? any tips?

  5. i posted a week or so ago about a possible blow out and others admitted to having similar problems in the crotch area. so i went to a local store and got their denim tailor to fix/prevent a blowout.

    IMG_0144.jpg

    this is what it looked like and why i was scared of blowout

    IMG_0162.jpg

    this is what it looked like after. really no difference but i appreciated the tailor masking the fix job by working on the inside and not where it was visible.

    IMG_0163.jpg

    this is the inside. he was going to reinforce with a denim patch but said it was really strong as is and didnt need to be patched but that the stitching was just loosening.

    so yeah thats really my 2 month update. nothing really improved from my last update.

  6. WOOT WOOT! After a month of accepting that my jeans were lost, found em in a closet at a friends house. :D Will post pics soon.

    lol either you have a terrible friend or your really stupid or both ... i cant imagine how you lost a pair of jeans but glad you found it haha. thats a really funny story!
