Tried these on today in dover street market and they fit and looked really nice, however one thing that bugged me about them was the trainer style bottom to them. I want them for casual summer use. Any ideas?

The mcqueen one, saw it in london for 80% off on the last day of the sale but bought other things, big regret!

These are size 44 Jil Sander Low Tops with a velcro strap across the front of the shoe. There are two suede patches on each shoe, one at the tip and one on the back, which can be seen in the photos. These suede patches are a similar colour to the rest of the leather and so are subtle yet effective. They come with original box and dust bags.

This is kind of a sale/interest check as I'm aiming to get enough money to buy some fred perry x raf loafers.

Looking for $40 shipped, reason for sale is its slightly too small. I got one of the other uniqlo shirts in a size M and it fitted fine so I bought this one and foolishly took the tags off before trying so it comes untagged, however its only been worn once. Its worth noting it fits like a small/smaller medium as I am a larger medium.

Huckleberry - understand your predicament, have a couple friends with same issue. Since you're aware of it, you should look for clothing that's cut in a way that doesn't accentuate it. Hell, I got high arches and a lanky build, and even certain of my jeans will give me that knock-kneed effect if they are tight enough in the thighs/knees.

Yer it really does suck because I'm quite fond of tighter fitting trousers and don't really know how to get round the problem without wearing something that I dont find aesthetically pleasing.

It looks like someone made him stand duck-footed, then smashed his knees in from the outside with a sledgehammer.

This is due to being severely flat footed and not really something I can help, fair enough if you dont like the clothes but I can't really help how I stand.
