hey are you supposed to size down from your true size or typical tag size?

my true size is about a 33... (as per BiG style measurement, 16.5 across the top waist x 2)

but most of the jeans I own are vanity sized with a tag size of 30

folks say go down 2 sizes typically with APC NS... so for me would that be 31 or 28?

if i were you i would get a 30.

i am a true 32.5, own a pair of 29 NS which i think are ALMOST too tight but not tight enough for me to go change them. if i had to try over again i would get 30 because i have big thighs

well i mean the first time around it goes through the loop...and after the end goes through the buckle i usually stick it through the first loop again...if that makes any sense.

i have a tanner belt on my apc ns 29. i dont even try to fit the belt through the first loop left of my crotch twice, just leave the end of the belt hanging a bit

Looking to trade for APC NS 30, as these are too tight on me.

Never washed, worn consistently for about a month, no visible fades front or back, im sure folds can be ironed out.

i found these at macys and liked the design over the regular 514s. These aren't premium jeans or anything (non selvedge, made in cambodia) but for roughly 30 bucks i found it a bargain

I just bought a pair of black slimguys from another user.

True waist 33, bought a 32.

These have stretched a bit, and might have a little bit more stretch in them. I think I might have been better with a size 31, but do you think if I do a hotsoak I would get the same result? I would say I would want to shrink them half a size to a full size.

Also, these are my first pair of black jeans. Do I need to worry much about fading/whiskers/combs? I figure unlike indigo it wont fade as well and I shouldn't worry about it. I like the uniform black color and just dont want to end up with gray jeans or something.

Definitely softer than the indigo ones.

After checking out this thread, is it suppose to say New Standard on the tag?

Since i never shop at the store where i got this jeans before.

if those are black those are fine. if those are indigo something is horribly wrong. and some apcs come with a separate tag, some just have the name on the APC logo. i've seen both

ya im not too worried about the waist, the thigh is just too tight right now, but if it stretches an inch then i should be fine

might be a lil weird but i got a new pair, sized down 3 because when i sized down 2 i felt it was too loose...

problem is there is no way i can get my boxers into my jeans right now. dont have any other kind of underwear, so right now its like scruntched up boxers or commando. i can almost get 3 buttons up commando - did i size down too much?

so my rescues were a 29 and too big at the waist. if i wanted to switch to a 29 NS would the waist have the same problem? would i need to get a 28? im a 32 true waist

i just bought a slightly used pair of apcs. sized down 3 on rescues but it still is about half an inch to an inch too big (already stretched out). if i hot soak these will it shrink back down? and if it shrinks back down till it stretch to the same width again?
