  1. Does anyone have experience with buying WG tts? I am a 34 waist and was thinking of buying a WG Deep Indigo @ 34.5 waist, simply because they are only 100$. Is it even worth it?

i get WG TTS. I think that is the best way to go unless you have really really skinny legs. I wear mine hard and bike in them and they did not stretch that much, but i always wear a belt.

also.....i just soaked mine for the first time and they shrank a lot in the thighs....i was very surprised, they will most likely stretch back out some. with my experience with naked and famous, I worry about shrinking as much as stretching

  2. i hope you're right, everyone bashes the indigos and insists deep indigo are better.

....gotta make my indigos come out nice so i can show all you non believers!

Mine are coming along great for such a short period of time, I can only assume they will kick ass after 12 months. I person that posted pics of the indigos that were over a year old said himself that they did not wear them hard and just sat around in them... I am wearing mine while living a very active lifestyle. There are only a hand full of people talking about them on this website, that is not a large enough sample size to assume that all pairs fade slow or fast.....

it's a pretty ludicrous statement to say that mine will look the same after a year as they do right now, I will keep posting evo pics

  3. agreed, bsjohnson looks like you got some decent fading goin on around your thighs too.... im guessing you ride a bike?? mine aren't nearly that worn in yet. have they been soaked/washed?

and itschrisb i think you may be right. Z also mentioned that post- soak, the denim is more "vulnerable" and will fade and become beat up faster. ill be soaking pretty soon.

how do you guys keep the water hot? last time i tried to soak my waistband the water became warm after 3 or 4 minutes....

thanks guys, and yes I do ride a bike 5 days a week to school, about a 1/2 mile a day. I also wear them about 12 hours a day total 7 days a week. I am super busy so i am always on the move in these jeans. For me they are coming along pretty quick. they have not been soaked or washed yet but I'm thinking about going ahead and doing a soak after reading some of the intelligent posts on that subject. I will post more pics of a post soak when I finally do it

Z....the color looks great, how many soaks/washes you got on those bad boys?

  4. I tried the 24oz yesterday.... didn't buy them but it was love at first wear ...

they are amazing, and super thick. i wish i had the money for it though.

but it's pretty impractical since spring/summer is right around the corner.

I wish i took pics... oh well

    how much were they?

  5. i went tts on my lw indigo weird guys and regretted it. would have sized down 2-3 if i had known. decent fit up there.

I think it all depends on your body type, I'm sorry to say that I don't think the jeans are going to stretch so much that you are going to have to size down 3 sizes, also they will shrink some after you wash them. I think that the fit in the pics below is to small, but that's just my opinion

  6. yes i am pretty sure..its pretty tight on the thighs area but the waist just fine now..(had a hard time putting it on at the beginning..) after a few hours walking around this jeans are awesome...

well damn, i hope the thighs stretch out for you.....congrats on a getting a fit you like

  7. i have just got my indigo weirdguys sz 29....

sizedown 3 from my true waist size 32..

.....i am liking the fit so far...

wow you sized down 3 ! that's a pretty big jump. are you sure your true size is a 32?

  8. pretty sure that was the dude with the vintage blue weird guys...pic was him in a red T with killer fades. did public gardening or something for 6 months in the jeans. it's back in this thread somewhere.

    yeah that's it, you're right

  9. I have a pair of the revivals as well, but have had a really hard time breaking them in. I've been wearing them hard for the past 4.5 months and there's only a small amount of crotch fading. How are yours looking? Anyone else have this wash?

i have seen a guy on mynudies have a pair that turned out great, the pics might also be on this forum. they were really faded, it made me want to get a pair

  10. I found the 21oz slim guys have been super slow to fade. However, I can't complain in the slightest. Wonderfully thick, comfortable denim - and 'hairy', which is a lovely surprise given that they are sanforized. Unusual to get that nice 'hairy' texture in a sanforized jean.

i had problems with the 21oz denim living in Florida, plus the slim guy cut is not my favorite, but i think that's mostly because i got them in the wrong size. i ended up trading them to my roommate for his GPS navigation system

  11. Judging from your posts, you really don't have any idea what you're talking about. Doing yard work in a day is hardly an accurate representation for things to come.

I'm not even going to bother talking about the $300 jeans comment, if you actually owned a pair you would know. So I will leave it at that.

yeah after i graduate i will save up and buy a pair of expensive jeans and experience the difference. I have owned about 6 different pairs of dry denim and this is my second from naked and famous, the first being the 21oz. the others were nudies and A.P.C. I have been riding my bike to school and also doing yard work and other daily activities in my n&f indigos for just over a month, in my personal experience they are breaking in pretty fast. other people say theirs fade slow. I just wanted to comment that mine are fading fast for anyone wanting to know how these jeans react to wear.....

judging from your posts you are a dick, it's just a jean forum......we are all just talking about jeans, try to not take things so personal

  12. The rise is really small right?

i wouldn't say the rise is real small, but yeah it is a low rise but nothing crazy. size down one size from your natural waist and you will be fine. i get my naked and famous true to size but thats just me, most people size down one

  13. whoaaaa

I've just been emailing with Brandon - this is awesome awesome news:

N&F will be dropping a >21oz, superheavy, rigid black jean in Aug '10, likely available in BOTH a black warp/white weft and an all-black version. Limited ed'n, price point >$300.

sounds pretty interesting, I guess n&f are doing well selling 21oz jeans. If you live up north I guess August might be a good time to start breaking in some jeans for winter

  14. bsjohnson you're fucking annoying and killing this thread with all your bullshit

here we go again....more bitching being done on superfuture, sorry for asking questions and making comments on jeans.....after all, i thought that was what this site is for

  15. bsjhonson, you do realise that you just made 4 posts in a row, right?

    Multiquote ftw!

why does it bother you that i made four posts in a row? so many people cry all the time on this website, sorry that i hurt your feelings

  16. I love the fit and finish on these. Probably the nicest pair of N&F jeans i've seen (of course with the price tag to go with them). That hank dyed denim looks amazing, and the fit looks really good. I like how it looks stovepiped in that size. I can't believe you got them to stand up, aren't they a lighter weight denim?

yeah those jeans look great, i wonder if they will take longer to fade...i say yes
