  1. Can anyone comment on the sizing on shirts long and short sleeve this season?

I got a friend going to NY this weekend and I usually get JPN Med / US Small but looking at the measurements on the JPN site, it looks like things run bigger now???!

  2. From their JP site:

    Work Pant

    Size 30

    Waist: 30.7"

    Rise: 11.8"

    Inseam: 30.7"

    Thigh: 24.8"

    Hem: 16.5"

    Jeans:

    Size 30

    Waist: 30.7"

    Rise: 11.8"

    Inseam: 30.7"

    Thigh: 23.6"

    Hem: 15.75"

    I converted from CM.

  3. well I ordered some tees on the 11th and some twill pants today.

My order numbers are about 36000 and just over 39400

I think they only have a few guys to cover these 3000+ (and more) orders.

    thanks lexerone.

It's funny you say that because I recall their measurements for raw denim and work pants/chinos to be 32" for a tag size 30.

I guess this season is totally different , seeing as how the outerwear and t-shirts are also running slim.

Guess I can wait til the jpn sites or the webshop is update with measurements.

  5. So far, my Black Knights have only had two soaks.

Initial soak and the other about 2-3 weeks ago at around the 3 month mark.

I noticed that the button fly buttons have started to show their true colors of bronze (black coating rubbing off) AND the silver backing is actually rusting.

Is this at all normal? I don't wear them very hard and never had this happen to any of my other four pair of jeans that I've worn for an even longer amount of time (8+ months each)

    Pics soon!

  6. Ready is right.

The meds are about 19" p2p and the large is just over an inch bigger (based on jpn website measurements).

It would be a good idea to size up but be aware that length might be longer than you'd like. Of course you can get it tailored in length but theres always a chance that the tailor might mess up a bit.

I guess we'll see their measurements Thursday.

  7. How about Left Field denim?

They do have a LHT model up on BiG. (They also have jeans with Tweed Weft)

Their prices are relatively cheap, and if we would want to go with a custom cut , patch, etc, I think the price would be equal to or less than what we would pay for a Samurai pair.

-Based on measurements, I don't seem to like either of their cuts, which is my I mentioned "custom cut" above.

With that said, I really do hope that we can stick with Samurai, but due to TIME, I would go along with another brand if price and cut were to be spot on.
