Raw denim in general doesnt need to be selvadge. Dior has two selvadge lines though: Red Selvadge (shitty, made in Morocco) and the higher quality Silver Selvadge (made in Japan) but thinner than standard MIJ Dior. The ones you are referring to are the standard sanforized raw Diors, made in Japan (probarbly as I cant follow the link). Luisa calls them Brut Jeans.

The other non-selvadge line is the made in Italy line (different cut, even though being 19cm as well). Luisa calls those Nostalgy Jeans.

Shrinkage is only minimal (less than 5%) as they are sanforized.

oohlala, these are sickk vonWitzleben! How long have you been wearing? Front is amazing, back needs moar honeycomb fadez.

Around 20 months on and off. It was my first pair of Diors but as the collection grew those were getting less wear in the last 14 months or so. They probarbly have around 250 full wears.

They have quite some honeycomb fading (at least more than the pic suggests), but I am not so much into extremly high contrast fading anyways. Hence I washed them relatively regularly after initial wearing in phase (prolly 5 hand washes with woolite dark).

Raw denim keeps fading even after being washed.

Dior MiJ 19cm ~20 months of wear. Looks like its time for a new raw project.

Dior MiJ 19cm after a day restoring an old cupboard. Has collected some dust from grinding, me likes, but tones down the contrast on the lap. Almost four months since last wash with regular wear of around three times a week. Fully stretched now, so need a wash/soak soon. Maybe after the cupboard is finished, no later than 2nd of april as we are moving houses on the 1st of april and I might wear them for that occasion as well.

Around 20 months of wear now, three washes, one soak.

I am likely to start my next project within the next days, but still unsure of cut and color. Maybe I will start a black and blue at once.

I didnt care for a correct white balance, but you get the idea. Some pics are blurry as hell as my tripod isnt making it anymore...

Can anyone tell me how the Day after Day wash runs, please? Are they tighter than regular washed 19cms or do they stretch less? How do they run in comparison to mij indigos 19cm?

I am about to take a hit from this one
