  1. I wanted to offer a simpler unbranded version of the Stanton (slim straight).

These are going to retail for $160-180 depending on where you're buying them.

    Details-

Denim: 13oz Redline Cone Selvage form North Carolina

    Fit: Slim Straight

Hardware: 4 nickel branded rivets and 1 black branded rivet

    Branded button on waistband

Selvage on fly and coin pocket

    Hidden bartacks on back pockets

The fit is running true to size and the denim doesn't stretch much at all, I'd say about .5" but it does shink up to an inch in the waist and length.

    Instores the beginning of January!!!

  2. Karl-

Was good to meet you today, thanks for answering my questions. I'm really impressed with the Standard Issues I picked up, and of course stoked with the quick hem job-

Look forward to trying on what drops next-

    Steven,

It was great meeting you as well. I look forward to hearing about how they break in for you.

hopefully we'll see some fit pics

    Thanks for your support!

  3. This is so awesome. It's like the modern version of Ooe-Yofkuten. The pricing is reasonable and the product look amazing. But I have a question bout your fits. Just from reading the measurements it seems like you employ ALOT of taper below the knee(more than APC New Cures sometimes), so does that area stretch out at all? One more question will you be offering denim in different colors (grey or black in particular)? Thanks alot and keep doing what you love :).

To which style are you referring? Of course the stretch factor always depends on the denim for instance, the denim I used for my skinny jeans doesn't really stretch much at all...the denim that I used for my slim straight does have some give to it. I recommend that you try them on to see exactly how they fit...if that's not possible, I can assure you that the bulk of guys buying say my Slim Straight are not really into fashion but are looking for a good fitting jean. They are regular guys that want a slim straight and the Stanton seams to be filling that need. I haven't heard anybody say that the taper on them is too drastic.

at this point in time my jeans are slim fitting as are my shirts, I realize that that doesn't suit every body type. Hopefully i'll be able to offer a more full fitting jeans for guys that have bigger thighs and calves soon.

    Thanks for your interest!

  4. Just copped the double indigo workshirt from American rag...

Curious how the shrinkage is on this - - coul you please shed some light?

Awesome Biff good choice. There is minimal shrinkage. I did a hot soak just to test it and the shirt shrank less than .5" If you straight up put it in the dryer (which I don't recommend) it'll shrink closer to an inch in width and half inch in length.

Also the denim will bleed a little bit for the first few wears but I've found that if you wear it often the bleeding dies down pretty quickly. Employ the hot soak if you want to calm the bleeding, hang dry, when its relatively dry throw it in the dryer on low, it'll cause the seams on the shirt to become shiny.

Let me know if you have any other questions and post fit/detail pics when you get a chance I'm always interested to see how people are breaking in their goods.

  5. I came, I saw..but no Karl :(

And I also touched. Couldn't help myself. And now I really want a pair.

I'm so SORRY I feel really bad :( I had family stuff all day yesterday and I completely forgot about you stopping by.

I promise I'm usually there, my parents being in town for Thanksgiving threw everything off. Hopefully you'll be able to come back in some time soon.

  6. Hey Rogue any ladies cuts in store that aren't on your site? I've been dying for a pair of locally made button fly. I remember seeing some made for, I think your, gf in the past...

    Thanks!

    Hey Nicochi,

Yea I've made some custom stuff for my GF, I won't be doing girls production for a while...that being said it may be possible to work something out for an individual order. If you want to set up a time to swing by the shop we can talk more about it.

    Let me know

  7. Love the look of the Work Trouser, however the rise is mighty treacherous for a guy as tall as I am (and with hands as large as mine). They call 9.5 rise on a pair of 34s mid rise! You'd be hard pressed to find a shorter rise on a pair of pants that size.

Anyway, anyone know of a similar pant with more normal proportions? Say, a 10.5 rise or more

    Hey Nate,

Add 1.5" to all rise measurements. I have not included the waistband in my specs. Hope this helps. Sorry for the confusion.

I have a friend that is 6'8" and picked up a pair of tag size 36s and absolutely loves the fit.

Hope this gives you some perspective.

    Karl

  8. I saw a few of your tops at Burg&Shild Berlin last week, very impressive!

    Keep it going

Ummm you may have been looking at someone elses brand maybe Rogues Gallery because I don't have anything at their store, but thanks for putting them on my radar I think Rogue Territory would be perfect there.

  9. Stanton - There has been a lot of interest in this fit. I only have one sample pair. I made this one before I had my custom hardware so I used a unbranded antique brass as a placeholder. The waist measures out at 33" again keep in mind that these meant to be worn on the hips.

Sk - The Sk is the skinniest fit. I wanted to see what black trim and thread would look like on the Cone 14oz. I think it gives the denim a completely different look. I'd keep these for myself, but I have too many jeans that I'm working on right now.

***All fits are more or less the same as those depicted on my website.

  10. Trouser Sample - waist measure out to 33...keep in mind that these sit on your hips not your waist. These were made out of a 13oz Kaihara Mills Japanese wide goods denim. It is an overdyed fabric. When it breaks down you see both shades of black and blue. I really like this denim and I will be incorporating it into my line down the road.

Standard Issue - This is my Vintage fit jean. It resembles the '47 501 LVC but has been slimmed down in the leg, the rise is also an 1" shorter.
