  1. He posted a pic a couple fo pages up.

Anyway, I don't know what kind of identification you want, but they are I'd say 5 years old, from the European Evisu line before they started making that EV EU CRAPPPP!!!, made in Italy out of Japanese denim if I'm not mistaken, very dark blue which fades a little grey-ish, a little different from their average stuff, from when they started out trying some weirder things, fun jeans, not obnoxious or in your face, beat the shit out of them I'd say.

Yeah, those are the ones, I was trying to track down a lot number. I'd seen someone else selling a pair a while back and they claimed they were lot 0002, but I couldn't find any info on them.

The italian thing makes sense since I've seen a couple of EU shirts recently with the blue logo.

  2. I'm trying to identify a pair of Evisu, but the Lot number is missing from the blue and orange cloth label. I'd say they were a straight leg.

They are a fairly dark denim with orange stitching (some yellow too) with a button fly and button back. They are 100% cotton, the selvedge runs up to the pockets (reinforced).

The only gull is a tiny stitched gull on the right pocket over a small red paint patch.

  3. I've got 14 or 15 pairs, but I'm trying to reduce drastically.

Mostly I've bought Levis when I travel to the states ($50 over there and £60 over here, almost double the price), and I have a pair of dark blue 501's that fir like a glove and feel great.

Recently I've got a pair of Evisu and a pair of Nudies, a pair of Henleys and surprisingly a pair of Superdry. The Henleys seem to fall into the same category as Diesal or G-Star and when you find them they're in the same type of shop.

The superdry are the most surprising - they've faked the selvdge on them, but they fell great and are a nice heavy denim. No Superdry love?

  4. Let's not get these confused with the original Levi's RED line. A few years ago in the US, Levi's started using the label "Red" on a product line that was just souped-up versions of their core fits. Nothing specially really - just the regular stuff with fancy finishes and stitching.

The original Levi's RED line is distinguishable as the cutting edge denim lab that brought forth the designs of the "Levi's Engineered jeans" range (twisted seams), and the Type 1 range, through their experimental designs. It is also one of Levi's few global lines, which for the most part, means that it's one singular collection available in limited quantities each season throughout the world.

    Ah! Cheers for that!
