Is it true that the size chart for the 301s at the SE website is not accurate? I saw an ad in the supermarket the other day of a pair in size 30 that had a waist of 31".

it is accurate.

the 301 stretch fast at the waist, that´s the truth.

i downed one from my natural waist size. 31 to tagged 30.

i have very fit tighs. so it is the perfect choice for to have the slim fit.

it is the deal for the sizing down with the 301.

look at the tighs, it is much more important than the waist.

choose the jeans with the tighs mesurements is my rule!

go back around march 2009 on this thread, it can help you...

I sized down 1.5. my true waist is like 31.5. these are 30w.. I think the black denim is quite stretchy... I have another in pair in size 32w.....

Ok i've always felt a bit insecure about my fit with grifters... i sized down and managed to pull it off -believe it or not! here is a fit pic. Okayama black denim. I know they look like rackers.... but they are grifters

i wear a size 31 on the samx2nd 710 so i thought i should be the same in the s003jp. the size 31 was snug on me. lol thanks hajduk >< i wear a size 31 301s so I don't think a size 30 s003jp would fit me

thanks kino, what is your true waist size? I sized down 2 from my true, and it ifts a little bit too tight in the thigh part, I suggest you to go true size or size down 1 at max, and if your true waist is 31, you could take size 30 which available in 2nd, they ship internationally as well
