  1. Burberry peacoat purchased at Saks Fifth Avenue in the prudential center @ Boston.

Retails for $1095 on the website, suggested retail is $995 on the actual tag.

I have the tag it came with, the extra buttons, a Saks fifth hanger (very nice one), a Saks suit cover.

Worn around 5 times, practically new.

    Asking for $850 shipped

    I had professional alterations done:

    - Waist suppression for a slim look

    - arm holes raised slightly for movability

In case you're wondering, I got it tailored at J.Press, which is the famous suit store located in Harvard square. It's the suit store that is even featured in the movie 21 (where the main character works).

    Measurements (with the buttons done):

    Chest, Pit-to-pit: 19"

Sleeves (from top of the armhole to break): 25.5"

    Shoulders: 18.5"

    Length: 33"

    Some images for reference:

  2. What size should I get if I have a true 31" waist?

I'm going to get them RAW, and will NOT hot soak them. I'm just going to start wearing them as is.

Should I size down and get 29 (30" waist to accommodate for stretch), or 30 (31" waist)?

  3. Does anyone know the leg opening/hem measurement of slim jim dry black coateds (in size 30x34)?

Are they equal to or less than 7.5 inches? Every site I visit or listing changes measuremnts, ranging from 7 to 8 inches (variably around sizes 30-32, at which the hem shouldn't change at all).

Also, what size should I get in the SJDBC if I want a tighter fit? I'm a true waist of 31 inches.

I wear TFDS in 31x34 and they fit perfect at first, but now they're a bit loose but I can still wear them without a belt; probably could have gotten away with a 30x34.

I also wear Dior MIJ in size 29, which also fit perfect.

Should I just get TFDBC in 31x34? I was planning on buying a pair of 30x34 SJDBC from a user here, but realized he listed the leg opening as 7.75 inches, but I'm aiming for an opening of less than 7.5 inches.

So my options are: SJDBC 30x34, SJDBC 29x34, or TFDBC 31x34. If I can just figure out the exact hem measurements of of the SJDBC 30x34, I can figure all this shit out.

  4. These are a brand new pair of jeans and I got them from BlueinGreensoho. It turns out they don't fit right so I decided to sell them. They've only been worn for 5 minutes tops, so there are no creases or folds.

The measurements can be found at BiG's website:

They retail for $265, but I'm willing to let them go for $240 + shipping.

Shipment is via USPS Priority and I only accept paypal.

  5. Keep em man, they'll be fine. I'm actually thinking I could have got away with 27s. I can pull mine completely off with the clasp done up, they stretch quite a bit

yeah man, yours look really baggy. looks like you could have sized down one.

but then again, that is sort of the "dior look" so it's fine just the way it is too.

  6. I got two pairs of Somet 008 slims Indigo from BiG. I only paid for one but for sizing concerns, they sent me two to send back the one that doesn't fit as well.

Turns out both don't fit as well and I'm sick and tired of returning and exchanging with them. So I'm planning on just selling the pair I paid for.

The thing is, I have sizes 29 and 30, which translate into 32 inches and 33 inches.

The exact measurements can be found here:

    http://blueingreensoho.com/site/inde...mart&Itemid=28

Basically, I want to see which size would gather most interest so I can send back the other pair.

They retail for $265, but I'd be willing to let them go for $240 + shipping.

    Anyone interested?

  7. Am I the only one who thinks the quality of dior denim leaves a bit to desire?

I find loose threads and cotton picks away from the button holes when I unbutton them. And these are only three days old.

The fit is spot-on; probably the best fitting jeans I've ever owned.. but I wish the quality was a bit higher.

  8. Dior homme 19cm looks good when its worn very low, right?

I have a pair of 29s that fit perfect on my upper waist; i can close the clasp well and it fits snugly.

But if I move it down to my lower block at the hip bones, which are approximately 2 inches wider than my waist, I can't seal the clasp. I can only button the buttons.

Will my jeans stretch out enough to the point where I'd be able to sag them a bit? I've only had them for a day.
