  1. ^That is logical but not what is going on in this situation I don't think. It's complicated and I think she's just fucking insane.

Moving on, I just met a fine ass chick in the library of all places. Can we get some dating thread success stories here? Gonna try to make this one of them.

  2. Okay so I've got this situation with a girl who I've known on friendly terms for like 4 years. We've been flirty for a while, and she clearly wants to get down and I'm game, but she's hesitant for some reason. I've come to the conclusion that this is because she's much more interested in the idea of me (or the idea of the me she's projected onto me) than actually fucking and being disappointed by the fact I don't live up to her built up notions.

Shit is getting tired and I'm not interested in dating her in any capacity. My question is do I just ignore her and get on with life, or do I issue her some kind of ultimatum (Larry David styles) or is there an option c)?

  3. when you ask somebody "how are you" and they say "i am well"

i dunno why it just pisses me off!!! i know its correct, but fk it sup world

    this.

but when they say "i'm doing well" i'm cool with it. weird.

  4. some of these guys need to stop talking shit and over-intellectualizing movies though. it's a fucking movie, enjoy it. you are not going to find answers to the mystery of life in a fucking movie. no one should expect that from a movie. not even from the "artsy" ones.

so no one should find meaning in books, paintings, songs, poetry, architecture, or pretty much anything else in the world right.

    your logic is dumb.

  5. ok superfuture cooks, chime in:

broccoli and thyme, or peas and thyme - which combination is more harmonious as a purée? they'll be accompaniment to a portion of slow-cooked salmon. lemon and thyme are present elsewhere in the meal.

Peas are the obvious choice - their starchiness will help give the puree body, but I'm gonna chime in here and say peas and MINT with a little basil thrown in if you feel like it. I find thyme will pair pretty inoffensively with both herbs and the mint really cuts the super sweetness of fresh peas and the fattiness of salmon. Works even better if you glaze the salmon with something, maybe maple.

    Just my 2 cents.

  6. He said 'over rated, flimsy and destined for popularity by people who pretend to understand it's meaning'.

He also said Terry Gilliam didn't deserve to direct.

    I HAD ENOUGH.

I loved it, obviously! Goddamn it. I haven't loved a movie that much in theatres since There Will Be Blood.

this has been said but fuck damn that movie was terrific.

and fuck damn, let terry gilliam do what he wants. man is a living LEGEND.

    fucl damn,.
