Gave my BSPs another wash last week... haven't had a chance to take full pictures of them but here's a teaser:
Taken with my droid in a bathroom mirror.

Here are some pictures of my Tanner Bifold that I have used since November 08. The first flicks are from February:
And here's a flick I just took that really shows the difference between inside and out:

X-posting from Evo threadddd
Samurai S0500
Had 'em a little over 6 months. 5 months of wear time cuz I'm still giving my BSPs some love.
2 Initial Hot Soaks/Machine Dry
Some Detail Shots :
Arcs coming off and rivets coming through, as well as intense fading along the ridges of the back pockets:

I don't think anyone posted it yet but I could be wrong -- here's a flick (with shitty lighting and composition) of the SC/BR bandanna given away at the SExSUFU party:
The colors are really pretty vibrant in real life.

^nope. It's accurate, but IH denim stretches real fast so if they were worn at all there should be some stretching.

Hate to say it, but the slub on the calves gives me the willies. I wonder why they are fading so strangely? Seems like Samurai didn't really think the pair out before putting them together. Very weird.

^The newest runs of Samurais basic models like S0500xx S710xx all have white tab and no arcs

Yo alli1212 I appreciate your willingness to participate but man you really have got to work on your presentation.
First off, pick the jeans with real wear.
Post pictures of them in ONE post.
Add in the amount of wear time and number of soaks/washes.
That said, please stop clogging up the thread with multiple posts of jeans that lack any significant wear. I'm genuinely surprised you haven't been negged to shit, frankly.

Are we talking outside of japan or within japan? I'm certain the answer varies between those two, let alone other factors. In the US I would guess that
Flat Head - 3001
Skull - 5010xx

throw a dryer sheet in there? i've never had problem with creases, also make sure to turn inside out, that's rule #1
For me, the key to avoiding dyer creases is making sure to throw some towels and stuff in there with the jeans.
Think about if you've ever thrown a shirt or something in the dryer alone -- it always gets creases. Having other items in with the jeans helps prevent this IMO.

My dad whoops the shit out of his jeans so I got him some IH634s for Christmas and he loves 'em, wears them almost every day. Gotta snap some flicks soon, the fit is great.
Oh, and he always uses his knee the hold the car door open so now there is a large (~6") dark blue spot on the interior of the driver side door haha...

^I think the born tuff thread was split out from beatle+sid's thread by a moderator to prevent their project from getting cluttered up.
I don't own em but I can just confirm what others are saying: the fabric on this piece is really amazing. It's just so soft on the inside.

They will stretch enough and do so pretty quickly IMO. As long as you are prepared for maybe 2 days of discomfort, I'd say go for it. I sized down one on my s0500 and they fit really well. Almost wish I sized down two.

all.gravity and I are buddies, and I snapped these pics for him - let me tell you folks, those SEXIH01's are fucking sick in person. Try as I may with my mediocre camera skills, the pics don't do them any justice.

Had some free time, took some snaps
Flat Head BSPs (11months) and Samurai s0500 (5weeks)
Filthy coin pocket on the BSPs (even after a wash):
Kinda cool side by side of the two denims:

Quick sizing question/reccomendation: When I bought my S5001s they fit perfect presoak, postsoak they were a little too tight for my liking (more skinny jeans than straight slims). I got a size 30, would a size 31 suffice or would the difference be negligible after soaking?
Should suffice. You will definitely be able to tell the difference. Also, make sure to account for stretching as they will stretch back out to presoak measurements and then beyond those.
If the 30s are just a little bit tight, I would consider waiting it out as they will stretch a bunch.
***PSA - please read the fucking thread before posting... lots of dumb questions in here lately
