  1. Had my annual work review today, and was praised fairly high against everyone else's reviews in comparison, yet we all still fall short of company expectations.

I'm looking for a new job.

  2. Trying to decide between APC and Jcrew 484. Any thoughts pro APC?

I've tried to get into the Jcrew ones, but I gotta have a button fly.

  3. Hi just quickly, if i wear APC Petit standard in tagged size 30 (measured 32 waist), what size should I be aiming for in Dior 17.5 or 19cm?

Assuming we're talking indigo raws, I'd go with same size. In my personal experience, the waist was near the same over time w/ stretch on both size 28 19cm and 28 petit standards. YMMV though

  4. Anyone have any experience with the Epiphone Broadway?

I've been looking more and more into it as I get into jazz and more chill stuff, compared to my 2007 Epiphone Casino. My casino is more blues-esque/rock at this point, though I do love the p-90's.

I don't really have the funds to have a couple guitars, but I do play a rock gig every week- I always love the sound of a brooding jazz box. Any word?

  5. Heard that.

The wavy background really differentiates the Seamaster line from other brands I think. I'm still in love with the blue 'bond' Seamaster. Can't go wrong with Omega in general, though I'm not really a fan of their newer movements- bit choppy in my opinion, what like 25,500 bph or similar?

All the Seamaster Professional models from that era have the wavy dial. As you can see in the above pic (or not see as the case may be) is that it's not all that noticeable unless you are really looking for it.

I happen to like the seamaster dial, but if you like the watch and the dial pattern is holding you back, just note that it's not as evident in real life as in well lit, macro photographs.

It's a great, bomb-proof watch. One of my favorites and one of the few that I kept after 10+ yrs of mechanical watch collecting.

  6. Sick sounds. When I start picking up some more cash I'd definitely like to venture into the Matchless camps.

As a bit of an update- the eBay seller actually sent me a Vox Jamvox instead of the night train. I e-mailed him back about it, and within a couple minutes he had my money refunded, allowed me to keep the Jamvox, and said he'd give me the same price of the amp when it became available again at the end of March.

The only problem is it's April now, and still no amp. He's probably not getting it in- should've left appropriate feedback.

  7. SIDEBAR: Does anyone know how to get a hint of brown tint on the fades rather then the hint of white? Is this achieved through harder wear or a special washing method?

    Cheers!

Funny, usually a lot of individuals want to opt to white fades rather than gross dirty brown/green fades- I'll trade you fades

  8. apc3small.jpg Size 28 APC petit (less than one month)

dior3small.jpg Size 29 Dior raw black (2.5+ years old at that point)

Go 29 in black raws; I had size 28 petits in APC, fit similar in the waist from what I remember

    Ignore the stupid dancing too
