  1. Pretty sure the rise on PS is lower than NC. And NC has the slightest "flare" to the hem whereas PS is slightly tapered... Correct?

I was thinking the same thing. I actually argued with a buddy about this yesterday, but I guess it's just a terminology difference; meant the same thing, but called it lower instead of higher. Whatevs.

Either way, if you have PS or NC in 28, I'm down

  2. I have indigo New Cures and I got black PS a few months ago (jeans were backordered for nearly 6 months...). Go with the same size. The fit is basically identical.

So you're saying PS and NC are pretty much the same thing? I had PS for a bit, but decided the rise was too low. NC might be where I'm headed if that's the case.

  4. While we're on the same page, can anyone point out a watch design similar to Frank Gehry's collab w/ Fossil? Or if you want to sell it to me at a good price...

I think I just enjoy the hands the most

  6. So I totally just ripped a hole in my left pocket today after reaching my hand into it while putting my jeans on. It's nearing two years, but more and more everyday they're getting close to retirement. Plus I just fixed a crotch blowout on the left side, now the right just blew out.

Gee whiz, it's like maintaining a car.

  7. In order of importance to me:

    1. Find a girl that I love and settle down

    2. Finish high school upgrading, get bio/chem/physics 30

    3. Pay off most of my debt

    4. Go to college for Turfgrass Management, and become a superintendent.

I am pretty happy with where I am at now, just wish I didn't have as much debt as I do.

These goals just remind me of how quick time goes- specifically what comes to my mind is how much my goals have changed from when I was 16 to now 22. I remember just wanting to become the next rockstar at 16. Then 18-19 considered marriage (moreso my gf's idea at the time, thank the lord it didn't happen), 20-21, dying to get out of community college after getting (2) associates degrees (indecision) and wanting to take a break and work saving up money, but now I'm at the point I'm tired of working near minimum wage as cashier, and want to go back to school for the most part. I'm not angry with where I'm at in life, though I'm sorta stoked to see what my goals are going to be in the next 3-5 years. I'll probably wish I was working as am now, as I tend to shrug off the present, but then look back on good times when it passes. Weird stuff.

But I see a big deal with your no. 1. Love is kind of a special thing. Though I had a sour ending with my one and only ex a few years back so I'm flying solo for awhile. I wouldn't have it any other way right now.

So I guess some points of interest for me right now are:

    1. Find 2nd job for more income

    2. Buy newer used car aside from my buick lesabre hitting 180,000 mi, probably a VW

    3. Finally get approved for a credit card (thank goodness I'm 0% in debt) for credit building purposes

    4. Possibly going back to school next year

    5. Find love somewhere inbetween

That's my five minute story, ha

    examine the zipper?

Sorry, it's something I noticed after a bit haha.

and quick question for the Nikon camps- I need a new body that'll autofocus with my older AF lenses; my D40 won't do that. So I was considering the D80, or a D200 which I found deals for (I was thinking those since it's not too far off budget for me- can't really spring for a newer body). Suggestions, reviews on battery life for them? All I'm concerned about are the autofocus ability for the older AF-D lenses and battery life.

  9. So I was just sitting around and replica watches came to mind, so I googled it- there's a replica Breitling I've been considering (of course I like the name and classic design), though I'm skeptical about ordering a 'fake' breitling online. I've also noticed several different sites selling these replicas has a FAQ section that are word for word, as if it's the same company/people through different websites. Anyone think this is a good idea to order from one?

Specifically this site as an example?

    http://www.watchvisa.com/breitling-classic-19017.html

It's so tempting since it's under $100, but I'll be darned if I'll pay for a real breitling as a college student right now. Any good/bad stories related to this? If I do I may just buy a pre-paid visa card and order that way so they won't get my real card number.

Or of course this whole replica thing is a scam. Feel free to scream at me.

  10. I actually did a quick shootout between the casino, an epiphone sheraton, and the epiphone dot (not studio) through a fender hot rod deluxe. I personally thought the sheraton had the most balanced sound of the three, but the neck was slightly thinner for my liking. The dot seemed a little muddy in comparison and felt cheaper in my hands, and I think the reason I went with the casino was the fact that it's fully hollow, and wanted full hollow (the other two have center blocks), and it has P90 pickups. Only thing that sucks about the casino is the sustain on the higher strings, since it is in fact truly hollow and a little more light-weight than a full sized jazz hollowbody per se.

I'd say go for it if you can try it out- I actually got it via ebay with a hardcase for $450 shipped, which is a steal since they're $599 new sans hardcase.
