Belts
in superdenim
Just got this brown cowhide quick-release belt made for me by 'unlucky'... he makes custom belts/wallets/chains etc.. from different leathers, quite reasonable.
Right now he's got stock of some quick release buckles so I snatched one up! pm if you want info

when you're crawling around in the rubble from the earthquake that just hit and all you can think about is the sick fades you will get... if you make it out alive.

flat head se05bsp from selfedge.com
41" but shrinks ~2.5" depending on soak. you could also stretch the inseam while soaking

hemmed my sz34 bsp's, they fit great.. not the typical tight fit that most are looking for but they give me so much more room than my sz28 apc ns

thanks for the feedback, yeah i'm going for something more relaxed than my size 28 apc ns. in my eyes they look okay so far and can pass as a relaxed jean. i hope a hot soak will make the fit better.
i see where you're coming from because i used to like slim fitting jeans, but for some reason my perspective has changed... wonder why

I got my size 34 SE05BSP in today. I have only tried them on, no soak yet! Here are some pictures and measurements for you guys.
Btw I'm 5'8", 165lbs, true waist 32", ~23" thighs.
Pre-soak BiG Method Measurements:
Waist: 33.5"
Thigh: 12.4"
Knee: 8.5"
Hem: 8"
Inseam: 40"
Front Rise: 10.75"
Back Rise: 14"
Don't mind the stacking, I'll hem after soak.
the top two buttons are close together but it doesn't bother me much.
I love this denim. The waist isn't that tight on me, there's a little bit of room in the thigh, crotch, and seat.
What do you guys think of the pre-soak fit? Should I hot soaking these or warm soaking? (30min?) I plan on soaking ASAP

ryan, could you post what your true waist and measurements are? how big are your thighs and what sizes in other jeans do you wear? thanks, i'm getting mine in the mail pretty soon and got a 34 as well

what kind of belt is more versatile for "streetwear", a brown or a black belt?
i don't think that you always have to match your belt to your shoes... anyone else feel the same?
just bought a brown belt, anything i shouldn't/should wear with it?

Touche. I see where you're coming from. But yea, a not too slim tapered fit sounds good. I was leaning toward the one size down in the first place. Thanks
jake is right, but if you're looking for tapered, you might want to look at the flat head SE05BSP and size up 2 or more. they're meant to be a slim fitting jean, but if you size up, maybe they'll fit you right.
i haven't gotten them yet, but i sized up 2 on my se05bsp and i will definitely post up some fit pics and more probably next week for you. also, check out braidkid's fit a few posts back.
hope that helps,
PS: is taper necessary? might want to think about that because a slim straight fit can stack well.
