  1. Shit, the Deep Indigo's are hard to fade. Mine made it to three months and I'm just starting to see some fading. I've switched another pair into my rotation so they're getting even less wear now. Damn, after seeing these pictures I'm not sure if I've got the dedication to wear them for long enough to work the fades in. I really like the denim, but they need some serious wear to get the indigo out.

Did you soak initially to get some of the excess indigo out (mine were seriously overdyed)?

+rep for being the first person to post some N&F Weird Guys that are actually worn in.

I wore them straight for about 4 months. Soaked a month or two after (again a few weeks later due to a terrible mud incident).

  2. regardless of the photograph's qualities (which aren't bad), this set is pretty bad. she's supposed to be gaged and bound, but you have her sitting on a dorm bed. you should have planned the shoot a little better and put in a better setting.

I was going for the quick and dirty snapshot aestheticy business. But to be honest I hardly set up anything in any of my shots as it is.

I'll probably do a whole set like this with different girls, I just did this to see if I could go with it. I'll take your advice.

  3. Bought this a while ago, too big for me now. Doesn't look faded, no holes, no stains, no nothing.

    Measurements:

    Pit to pit: 22"

    Shoulder to waist: 26"

    Arm Length: 21"

    Arm Width: 6"

Looking for $50 shipped anywhere. I can post more detailed pictures if anyone wants them.

I take Paypal, and well concealed cash too if you're within Canada.

  4. For me, and I'd imagine a few other people as well, it's more of what the brand has done than what the pieces portray. If you look at the history of the company, they've done a lot for not only NYC skate culture but skate culture in general.

Another thing I could suggest would be that for some it might mean being part of something. Not necessarily some hypebeast ideal, but something much greater than that.

But that's probably taking it too far.

I also dig the whole plain and simple aesthetic they use a lot. I haven't seen many busy pieces from them. Some people might agree.

Or the label could simply just appeal to their personal brand, there are a ton of possibilities.

  5. A few photos I did with chairs a few months back. I was never quite happy with them, I sort of stopped taking photos after this set. There are about 20 more pictures that go along with it, these were the only ones I felt somewhat satisfied with.

Negs are a bit dirty, bare with me.
