No, the one in Tower Square. It's grown out a bit and the sun and salt water had helped it look not so twat like now.

Is there a list of Comme de Garçons Homme online stockists floating around anywhere?

Yeah, I agree with Dansta. Surry Hills or Darlinghurst is where the fun is at, but the CBD is a better home base IMO and the hotels are nicer. And of course it is really easy to either walk or get a bus out to the city fringe.

@Mel, yeah I tried it on. Only the large was left. I think the medium will be spot on. The navy is really nice but black will be easier to work into my gear.
And get the 33.

Nick, PM me your email and I'll send through a list of the BBS sale items and pics which Dilettante sent me.
Also, Mel, get me that CdG poly blazer in black.

I've bought the small so need to sell this fast. Price down to a measly $500AUD.

No, I didn't hear from him.

I managed to track down a small in the BBS cooked wool zip up, so if anyone is interested in my medium (unworn), hit me up.

FS: BNWT BBS Cooked Wool Zip-up [M]
I bought this from H. Lorenzo, but have decided that the medium is too big for me, so I'm trying to track down a small. Retails for around $960USD.
This is best for a true 48 in my opinion.
Huge price drop. This is 50% off retail.
Asking: $500AUD + Shipping
Domestic buyers contact me for a price

Just got my hair cut at some barber in North Sydney as I was pressed for time. Worst decision of my life. I look like a complete twat now.

I've been to Desmond and Molly Jones but didn't really rate it. The customer service etc. was very good, but I got the impression that they were far more comfortable doing women (haircuts, obviously).

Are there any discount codes for for-tomorrow?

Dye them black Mel.

Something liberating about pairing down a wardrobe...
Those sneakers look great. I think the white version wear better than the black. I don't really like how the natural latex colour contrast with the black.

I think there may be a bit of a language barrier here Rob...
Dave sums it up pretty well; and as I stated, for a collection that has been so long in the making you can hardly blame the fans for being impatient.

I think you have missed several of the very pertinent points in the discussion.
1. If a designer is allowed to ask for discretion, the consumer can in turn ask for openess. They are both entitled to opinions, after all. No point in getting your panties in a twist.
2. The amount of money a store spends on a designer should have no bearing on the designer's views. The fact the LIFT had an open showroom for its customers speaks volumes.
3. People appreciate that the collection should be seen and felt in person. But this is not feasible as has been pointed out numerous times. And using this as an excuse for putitng an embargo on pictures is lame (i'm not sure if this was what Poell said, or what the fanboys use to justify the ploy). The fact that Poell and his humble crew allow pictures to be spread post realese, again, speaks volumes. Pick one side of the fence, don't sit on it.
In the end I don't really care if it's marketing ploy or not, or if Poell is a private man. I didn't get to see the collection in person, and won't for a long time, so want to see pictures. I am sure lots of people are in the same boat.

I don't have a camera capable of any decent shots. But I'll see what I can do.

To protect a well aimed shot to the fibula? I don't understand, or is that the idea?

But does it do anything? It looks like some Puma Discs kind of gear. "Wind here to tighten your laces".
Does it form part of a skeleton on which the leather is moulded?
You also said the titanium elements are optional? Were the same models of shoes etc. present at the showroom with and without the titanium?

What is that metal thing in the workboot?

Song for the Mute stocked along side CCP. You gotta be stoked with that man!

Thanks for that rob. Sounds intriguing to say the least.
Did you notice Ink HK has listed CCP for 2011?

however, they did not say we cant talk about them.
And I only know one Australian SuFu member who was lucky enough to see the collection in person...
PM me with you thoughts. I know you have spoken briefly on the direction and themes of the collection, particularly those which are further explored from the previous season but I would like to know more garment specific stuff.

But for people to respect the wishes of Poell, and to see the collection in person then we will never see pictures of the collection. Stores like Lift et al will not be able to blog about the collection... and people who don't live anywhere near a stockist will be up the proverbial creek.
If Poell had a real problem with it then why not speak to these stockists and tell them not to post images at all? I think it is just a stock standard attempt at hype mongering.
The sad truth of the matter is that only his true followers will abide by these wishes. The stores/websites/people he is trying to limit are the ones who are going to break the rules anyway.
And Merz/Christian had the best point of all - there is no imbargo on words.

Yeah, and Melbourne has that really attractive piece of architecture called federation square... You definitely want to check that beauty out.
