These look pretty good for $105 dollars, which is wat they're going for on the Japanese sites. (ZOZO, hare-ec.jp) Any idea where to get them from online, apart from the jap sites?

Any idea about the sizing? They come in M or L, so I'm guessing that L is about a 10 US?

  2. RM Williams Simpson boot

Leather sole.Good quality if the other RM Williams shoes are anything to go by. @ Nungar. AU$260. Looking at getting a pair in dark brown.

Saw these in person today, not as good as I thought the last time I saw them. The shape of the toe looks a bit funny. Round toe with a highish toe box.

Just wondering... Would something like this go well with a suit? Leather sole makes it a bit more formal, right?

  4. hi, does anyone know where I can find desert boots similar to Clarks in Melbourne? I think Clarks wont be available in Australia till later this year

I'm in Perth. Had to order mine online from Shoebuy. Not the best price, but they deliver to Oz, Zappos and others don't. Make sure about sizing though, sending them back would be very expensive. The Aussie dollar is about on par with the rupee now though.

Alife make something that looks a lot like Clarks, but with some sort of wetsuit type material inside to stop your feet slipping around, unfortunately for about 3 times the price, and without the crepe sole. Look a bit lame actually... That's a shit recommendation. This particular colorway highlights the shitness.

If you wanted to spend that kind of money, RM Williams do a leather sole Simpson boot that looks pretty slick. Try them on in the shop and buy them online @ Nungar. AU$260. Cheapest I've found online. Maybe not what you had in mind though.

  5. cool, so store is opening soon i guess...

Are wasteland/dilanette having sales yet? I know zekka started their sale in december...

There was a Subway sale in the city last week. A few bits and pieces from Wasteland in there, but mostly just Gstar stuff.

    :-/

When's the next Zekka sale? Anyone?

  6. just go to a local tailor and have dude take your measurements and write them down for you, it's that easy. TaT is probably better quality, i mean theres even dior suits FS on here for 300 check the supermarket, theres an exquisite geller suit but idk if you'd like it.

I'm not too crazy about not trying suits on first. Too many variables to fuck up.

  7. Surface to Air navy suit.

    ~$720.

Tried it on, like the fit. The pants make the suit IMO.

Seems a little steep, just wondering about quality. Won't hesitate to spend the money if the quality's up to scratch.

Before anyone suggests TaT, I don't own a suit with a remotely good fit to take measurements on. Can't be bothered altering suits either.

  8. I was in Zekka a week or two ago. Friendliest shopkeeper guy ever. I think that he said the Julius stuff was coming in a couple of months. Too bad I can't afford any of it.

Even if you're not planning on spending $750 on cardigans and whatnot, check the place out. It's like you've stepped out of Perth and into some cosmopolitan city.
