  1. Bought these 2 months ago, tried breaking them in, but they are too narrow. I am usually a 10.5 D in sneakers, sized down based on info I found online. They are in good shape apart from a few superficial scratches. These have been waxed a couple of times with Sno-Seal. PM me for questions. Asking 190$ or best offer. I am in Canada, I will ship most places depending on final price. Paypal or money transfer.

  2. New NS's. Semi Retiring my 5 year old NS's. Obviously in rotation with many other ( now also semi retired) jeans. Everytime I wear them a new tear happens, the yoke has been repaired, the crotch several times... Many many many washes.

  3. Been playing since the age of 8, competitively since 12. Am now 25, looking for some new teams,as my outdoor team has pretty much disbanded (old age, getting relegated etc), and my indoor team was getting watered down with lower quality players, and it wasn't worth the commute anymore. Turf indoor, been rocking copas for a few years, love them, though the sole has gotten very soft and I've suffered from toe injuries in the last couple indoor seasons. For outdoor, I've been wearing Predators for a few years. First one's were soft ground Pulse's, which I still wear, as they only get worn in rain, then I got Absolutes, and those lasted me several years, until finally the sole came off. Loved those to death. I replaced them with Predator X's but bought them a little smaller than usual and the leather has not stretched as much as they used to, so i've had many bruised toenails. Now that the preds are no longer K-Leather, I'm going to switch to either Copa's or Nike's, the leather on the Tiempos looks sweet.

Another option for an older style K leather shoe is Pantofola D'oro (Gold slippers?). One of my teammates swears by them:

  4. I've been cutting my own hair for a few months now. I got a haircut that I kinda liked (they always got it a little wrong, hence me doing it myself), and i've been maintaining that cut/letting it grow out a bit more than the stylists ever left. The hardest part is trimming the top. The sides are easy with a decent set of clippers. Depending on how you wear it, slighly longer hair will give you greater margin for error when trimming it. Just trimmed today, excuse the crap pictures.img01528567.th.jpgimg01578568.th.jpg

  5. I sized down 2 from 32 to 30 on my NS 3 years ago. They have never stretched more in the waist than maybe 34? When I wash they shrink down to about a 31, probably a bit smaller. I'll measure next time I wash. So for anyone who wants to size down 3 or more and expect to wash them, keep that in mind. The inseam has also shrunk from 35 to about 33-34.

  6. Picked up an Invicta 8926C (Sub homage, automatic, coin-edge) for 65$ shipped on world of watches dot com. On another note, weirdest thing happened: my grandfathers old Bulova automatic stopped working, so I unscrewed the back off and found the rotor was lose as well as other pieces. I took them out and bagged them with the intention to get it fixed. I opened the box I put it in an hour later and the thing is ticking... Is this bad? I may have wound the spring manually accidentally? It's still ticking 5 hours later...

  7. I have had 0 issues on my sized down 2 21oz BIG editions apart from the button, which they were quick to rectify by sending me a bag of 5 different buttons to choose from. No quality problems on my neps though... Looking forward to trying on some Weird Guy High's when my local retailers finally get some. Hoping they make them in more than just the two colors right now.

  8. I wonder why they decided to make the pockets on the weird guys different from skinny guys. I have a pair of each, and though I prefer the fit overall of the skinny's, i really dislike the back pockets ( size+design+ placement) on them.

  9. Have you tested it out to see if it actually makes a difference? I always focus and recompose(focussing on the eyes), even using MF gear, and always get super sharp results.

On another topic, anyone have/used an original 1Ds? Found one on CL for cheap. Cheapest full frame camera out there I think? Most of my work is shot on Hassy/Phase, but it would be nice to have something a bit less cumbersome/doesn't require tethering sometimes...

  10. depends on you and on the cut, best is to try them on. I went down 2 on my BIG weird guy 21oz collabs without trying on. they are a little snug now after a few watches ( they do shrink a little). went TTS on skinny guys cause i couldnt get even size down 1 on.

  11. I dropped my camera(50D at the time) from about 2 feet with the 24-70 attached. It feel backwards onto the back of the body. The weight of the lens pulled the mount clean off of the lens ( screws came right out of their holes). Cost was about 300$ CAD for parts+labour, they also checked the alignment of the elements etc. Of course it depends on what is broken, but I think that's pretty much what you're looking at unless an element is broken/cracked...
