    Any one have pictures of the 4001bks after a few months of wear? I havent been able to find any in this thread. I'm pretty sure the 4001bk are the same everything as the f310/3001s just in black.

    You obviously haven't read the thread as you'd know what the difference between the 3X and 4X denim is...

    Jobes - have those Canada Post SOBs delivered it yet??? The tracking said it was scheduled to arrive on the 10th? Did you have a massive snowstorm up there?

    And yes, I expect they'll fit you snugger than your pic above....

    Not yet! :-( I hate Canada's Postal system! Ha! 2 weeks from Toronto to Vancouver? A joke but cant wait to get them, hopefully tomorrow!

    jays978 - I think they look really good. My experience with BSPs tells me that they will stretch out for 2 months or so, so they will eventually get looser everywhere if you are worried about it being too tight. It is different denim to the BSP though so not totally sure. Did you buy from riff? I bought a brand new pair of SEXFH05Bk from him and the hem on those are 0.7" smaller then my equivalent size in BSP. That's 1.4" smaller in circumference. So hopefully they will fit a lot skinnier then my BSPs. My BSP fit for reference:

    chubby - I agree, no where near as skinny as I was expecting but they are awesome jeans...

    cure - Weird because I sized down one on my BSPs and I find them fitted, not skinny but then again I like that now.

    My apc nc size is a 32, and I got the 4001's in a size 34 after trying on some 32's and 33's . After the soak they were snug but not unbearable. You could probably pull off a 33, but not without a decent amount of initial discomfort.

    And to combat the initial discomfort, find a chopping board or something that fits inside the waist perfectly presoak, hot soak it to get rid of all the shrinking (everything will shrink apart from the waist), wear for 2 weeks or so to get some stretching out of the way then soak again with out anything in the waist (waist will shrink but because it has already stretched out to some degree, you'll never get a really bad discomfort wearing your jeans). Should fit snug again and then you'll stretch it out to a prefect fit.

    That's what I do with all my unsan jeans. Works a charm!

    Right, but there were only 25 pairs of the SEXIH01BK worldwide.. there was more than four times that many made for the SEXIH07BK. We also got short-shipped quite a few in San Francisco, and i don't think we're getting them ones we were short-shipped due to quality control.

    Was there any 33s in the short shipment? What's wrong with the quality control of the jeans? Too many loose threads and Customs thought they needed to send it back to Japan? ;)

    man, those flat heads look seriously sweet. tempted to buy it. but I just cannot convince myself to get any more jeans and I'm just one month into my SEXSC06. someone convince me.

    Which pair do you need convincing on?
