My Flat Head 1001s fit perfectly but are now in desperate need of repair, what should I get to replace them? Already have a pair of Samurais I'm not overly fond of so I'd like to try another brand

If I'm a 29 in flat head 1001s what size should I go with in iron heart 301s for a similar fit?

Thats the first I heard about not being able to mute players, but I'm getting all the same connection issues. On the plus side it seems they ungimped the snipers, kind-of. The PSG-1 is more powerful but only with no attachments, I guess its the reverse of what happened with the 1887s

And while MGS4 was basically the perfect game I still feel drawn to MGS3 the most. I was too young to really appreciate the first two when they came out, and the story/setting of MGS3 was a lot more immersive than 4. It really benefitted from not being bogged down by all the bizarre plot twists in the first two games. I wish they would release it with normal control scheme so I could play it again

The campaign of black ops made me want to play MGS4 again, you actually got to do all the stuff they reserve for scripted parts in cod.

So the patch for Black Ops is out. While the patch is supposed to fix the match making and connection problems, they've gotten worse. The official CoD forums keep crashing because of the number of visitors that have come to complain.

after playing a bit of ff13 and seeing fallout new vegas trailers i thought both jrpgs and nonjrpgs were going down the drain but i recently borrowed dragon age from a friend and i must say it has restored some of my faith in the genre

The gameplay and technical aspects of ff13 were great but the story was weak, it could have been a great game if they had done a better job with the characters.

The only rpg that's really grabbed me lately is Demon's Souls, but its something you'll either love or hate

I'm a former hs cross country runner but stopped in the winter and didn't start up again until now. I really underestimated how out of shape I am. Ran a little over a mile two days ago and felt like death but that was really just stupidity for not drinking enough and running cold without stretching.

Just did 1.5 miles now and feeling good, gonna work up slowly from here to avoid shin splints/overuse injuries

Not entirely related to the question, but I think this warning should go out to everyone in the production thread: whatever you do, don't get KRK RokitPowered 5"s. I have them (still haven't been able to upgrade) and loathe them more and more every day. There is a bass boost that occurs from about 75-120 hz, making mixing kicks near impossible when exclusively using them. Couple this boost with the lack of acoustics treatment, and you have a muddy mess. I trust my cheapo $30 Sennheiser headphones more than I do my $300 monitors since the tracks that I've mixed mostly in the headphones have translated way better than the monitor mixes. I've had mixes with my monitors where the mud was so thick that I couldn't even hear that I was having major clipping in the attack of a percussive sound.

I'll probably end up investing in a good pair of headphones to work on for the most part since I'm going to be moving out soon and don't want to invest in room treatment, anyone have any suggestions?

PS. I listened to Beats By Dre the other day and wasn't impressed at all. Nothing remotely special. Was this the case for you guys or have they lived up to the hype?

HD-280s are good and only $100 but they can get uncomfortable after a while. I prefer my HD-25s but they're a little more expensive, I think I paid like $155 on ebay for them.
