  1. I have never met a hairdresser (except maybe in the expensive places I can't afford these days) with good taste in anything. I look at their clothes and think fuck...this isn't going to end well :(

  2. Sorry if this has been done already but I can't find anything using the search, probably cuz I don't really know what it's called. I'm after a hoody with a slouch neck. Looks a bit like a scarf attached but all the same material. I know that All Saints do something like it but I was wondering if there was anyone else doing similar.

Basically some gateway goth-ninja stuff. :D

  3. Change of plans: I plan on looking like a fat piece of shit this Fall.

All the cool kids are doing it.

I want some subtle tech stuff. There's a great jacket in All Saints with a big scarf like collar that zips up. And I want those Aitor Throup trousers although I missed the boat there.

  4. New member here! I've been trolling for awhile, finally desided to ask a question.

I picked up some "raw" denim from H&M to play around with but was limited to a size 29 which still seemed larger then what i wanted. I'm wondering did you guys get a decent amount of shrinkage with a cold soak or wash? These jeans are unusally light colored for raw denim and with the cheap price i don't know if risking some fade is worth the amount of shrinkage.

*Bump* I just got some of these. The &denim ones, like Sliqs but a little bit more tappered. What do you recon, soak them first? They advertise 5% shrinkage but I don't want to lighten the color too much.

  5. these responses are kind of misleading. if the jeans were sanforized then you don't have anything to worry about. honestly, don't worry about it. wabi sabi

So, just to be totally clear (and look like an idiot) if raw jeans are unsanforized soak in cold water first, if saniforized don't bother?

I've just got some h&m raws off ebay, i'm guessing they are not sanforized. I think they are the ones from when they launched the & line, rather than sliqs.

  6. hahah I agree with the last line wholeheartedly. :D

a bowlcut would have been weird, yeah, I agree. if you see my haircut here, you can see that with good layering, the undercut isn't noticable. but I mean if you wanted something like a Hedi fade then he shouldn't even have been suggesting an undercut/bowlcut in the first place haha

It looks great on you. and you can't really tell it's been undercut (apart from the non-poofyness I guess). I think my guy just bet the other hairdressers he could convince some idiot to look like a monk :D
