I purchased a pair of Self Edge x Flathead 05's nearly 2 years ago that I hardly wear because my waist is too large for them. They are size 30 and have been hot soaked ONCE. Size 30 (I believe, as Self Edge has taken the measurements down) means that the original waist was 31.5 and original length was 38 inches. After soak, the measurements are roughly 30 inches in the waist and 36 length, but the waist has room to stretch, so these jeans would work for size 30-31 waists in my opinion.

I have only worn these for ONE AND A HALF months. As you can see in my pictures, there is barely any fading for such an old release. There is TONS of life left in this denim and there is ZERO damage on them. In addition, the crotch is REINFORCED on the inside (as a preventative measure; there is no crotch stretching/damage at all), so you can be sure that these will last forever.

I'm asking for $150 for pickup in Anaheim or additional money if I need to ship to you (US only please). Great price considering how little fading there is and how much life is left in them (was around $330 new).

quick question about sizing. ive always thought i knew how to size down properly, but people on another forum disagree. lets say my waist is 30" and i want to buy sexi04's (hypothetically). the corresponding tagged size is a 28. sizing down 1 would mean getting a tagged 27, correct? i have some people saying that it means i sized down 3 (implying that you match the tagged size to your waist, then subtract).

am i right?

hello. i have a pair of Self Edge x Imperial Size 27's for sale or for trade. the waist is a 29. the jeans have about 1-2 months of wear on them. fading has occurred a tiny bit on the stacks, combs, plus a little on the right back pocket from my wallet. the jeans, however, have been hemmed to a 37" inseam from the original 40" inseam, and i also fell on my right front thigh, leaving some white marks from where the denim skidded.

overall, the denim is in great condition. it has been soaked once, so it has lost its starch shine, but the jeans are still beautiful. ridiculous amount of life in them...i never wore them hard at all. this is probably your last chance to get a hold of this denim. i would have kept em but i gained 15 pounds and i cannot fit in them anymore.

i am looking to sell somewhere around 150 or a bit less maybe. i would like to, however, trade these if anything. i am interested in new standards and any used skull denim that has a slim but NOT TOO skinny fit (these SEXI04s were a bit too skinny for my liking). if you have used flatheads too i would also love to see those.

mmm maybe try for just grad school and become a professor? that seems like a chill path to me if youre into science/research. i think being a prof would be kinda cool.

i guess its my fault then. all of my high school friends are chill ass NORMAL kids that i fuckin love to kick it with. the problem is that i was basically the one of the smartest kids at my school, yet i hung out with normal kids (many of them non-honors kids GASP) because they were way cooler than most smart kids.

here at ucla its pretty different. more smart people = more lame o's = less people that i like.

in a good way or a bad way? in a good way, it could mean that there are a lot of geeks/nerds so its hard to find some normal people. in a bad way you could be calling me a social failure due to the caliber of the school.

the people on my floor are alright. i hang with a few people mostly that i really like, but when theyre not there im pretty bored. most of the people on my floor are nice but i just dont really wanna hang with em. i have a lot of high school friends that i hang out with too sometimes..theyre chill of course.

where can i meet people that arent lame but arent crazy (eg frat status)? i mean, i just wanna hang with normal people that wear normal clothes (not people who wear running shoes everyday like a lot of people on my floor do) and dont have to party all the time to have fun.

any suggestions? types of clubs that have these kinds of people?

i got some mud on my jeans and was wondering how to remove it. i got most of it off with just water and rag, but some spots remain. what kind of soap do i use? its not severe enough to warrant a wash...

also, i rubbed the muddy area a lot in the last few days. i saw some indigo come off on the rag (made it a little bit blue...not a terribly large amount). when i finally decide to wash em, will that area turn out a lot lighter? cuz that would look funky...
