  1. it's ms sally's fault, he is a provocative prevaricater

random question - does anyone know if the bar at canter's has a TV? i need some place to catch some college football nearby

You would go to the Kibits Room. Most likely going to be there all night. "oh i was boozing at the kibitz till close and just happened to be 1st in line at Supreme when I came to." Real aloof.

Blame Michael Williams and his continuous lean for the improper naming. According to that book that has a lot of camo it is called "Duck Hunter" Camo. Mexicans and another country with poor military dubbed it that, so i'm sticking with Michael Williams.

  2. would it have been better if Massiv had made the obligatory "when will *poorly made, over priced, cool looking, reinterpretation of a workwear/outdoor classic* be available online?"

Not trying to pick a fight but the heavily branded stuff, box logos and what not, aren't the bastions of evil they are made out to be and those that buy them exclusively are still deserving of an answer to an otherwise normal question.

    Yes, they most likely will.

  3. btw random speculation time - by my count, there's 13 jackets in the preview (i don't count the varsity sweat since it was grouped with the crewneck). i am guessing that 6 or so will be available on release day so here's what i came up with.

i'm questionable on the varsity, which is traditionally a first day release - however, it's probably proven strong enough to stand on its own now, so i'm leaning towards it being held off.

    1st day:

    ripstop

    quilted waxed cotton

    denim riders

    hooded bdu

EITHER champion coach (likely) or leopard coach

    varsity?

    later:

    other coaches jacket

    bomber

    insulated work

    leather down

    n-3b

    quilted puffy

    wool chore

My guess was that the hooded bdu takes the place of the field jacket this year, so if they are keeping with tradition, than hooded bdu would be a later release.

  5. also, is it just me or does that leather down jacket that Dill's wearing look navy, especially on the cuffs? that color navy would be so sick!

On the product shot on the site it looks like navy cuff on a black jacket. Would also be happy to see it actually be a navy color over all.

  7. in the past their (Champion excluded) coaches jackets havent had anything on the back and typically if there is something to be seen on the back they show it in the preview.

I would say nothing on the back

  8. hockey top - is it me or does the logo looks out of place?

would be nice if they left off the logo in lieu of the requisite name on both this and the champion jacket. I'd prefer just about anything else on the back. If Hall of Fame went with "He Hate Me", Supreme could have come up with something better.

-Denim Shirt looks nice. Another name for work wear is Prison Attire, and I feel this represents well.

-Glad they brought back a pop color for the down leather jacket

-Not passing on the camo camp this year.

-Liked street scene and bored tee.

-long sleeve tee is a great addition as long as it is decidedly cheaper than their cut and sewn long sleeves. Graphic is super.

-Dont like the name tag on the heavyweight plaids. Will need to remove if purchased and than i'll have spent $118 on a flannel that could be anyone else

-Scorpion keychain is cool. Not sure how hard it is to capture a Black Widow or if its even legal but if insects on keychain turns seasonal trend, than i'd like to see.

-Someone called the switchblade comb seasons back.

-backpack looks small and "business professional"

    vybgg3.jpg

if Aron was lookbook model, than this would have been my "he looks like a puerto rican lesbian" look.

    Dill's got that good hair.

  13. ^strike while the iron his hot.

the fact that he even said, joking or not, "I do recommend wearing Red Brick Souls while skating. Trash them and buy more." when asked if wearers should skate in them is some what terrible. I mean i guess a lot of skaters buy, trash, re-buy, $300 shoes.

  14. whilst it has been a boon for ridding my closet lately, i cant help but get juiced each time strictly supnuts gets shut down or beleaguered with problems.

it's like watching my old high school hockey team lose.

  15. generally Canada (CYC) seems to be the "better" manufacturer, and the go to item of clothing to prove this is the mentioned thermal lined hoodie. I agree that this item of clothing is made well, fits right, and functions great, but to my knowledge, Supreme has never made a thermal lined hoodie with a Chinese manufacturer before, so there is no real basis for comparison. in their medium weight fleece they have used both China and Canada and I dont see a difference.

The flannels (shadow plaid and western plaid) from 2006 A/W are my favorite and were made in Japan. My liking has more to do with fit (bigger) and color choices (better) and less to do with stitching and construction.

$405 a week is glorious. Best summer in years.
