  1. hi-- apprecaite the help guys thank you a lot

right now my apc ns 30's stretched to fit me good at:

waist 34, so i guess i wear it around 33. but maybe a 35 wouldnt be bad so a belt can be used?

the thigh is at 12". so what would i have to look for to make sure it can stretch to at least a 12"

    thanks--

edit: tommorow i post the fit pic so its easier to give advise. again thank you all

Samurai s5000bk stretches a lot at the waist (I downsized two), if you want roomier thighs you should go for 33 or stay tts, still at 33 it has 13 thigh so should be good for you even after the initial soak/wash.

  2. thanks eveyyone---

most expensive denim dont stretch much right?? so a 24" thigh person should look for at least 12 or a little above?

Depends on how fitted you want. What is the waist aligned measurement of the jeans you're wearing now? Size 35 in Samurai S5000BK is 13.5. It won't shrink down to 12 when you do the initial soak/wash so it should be roomy for you. The denim can stretch a lot too.

By comparing measurements in the same size, and accounting for a little shrinking, I still find Samurai S5000BK roomier than Iron Heart 1634 BK

  3. I know I just shipped something to Montreal and it took like 3 weeks. Customs is a bitch.

That's weird, I bought some obenauf last time from Seattle (I'm in Montreal too) and it didn't take that long.

    3 weeks is pushing it.

  4. I'm a 14 in low-tops and 13-stretched out in High tops, if that helps at all.

I am the same in low/high tops.

If you have a chance, go try them on. I am a 10 in converse, and 11 in athletic shoes.

I tried 10 (suede version) at first, found them a little tight on the side, and then tried 10.5. However, when I tried walking, 10.5 a little too loose at the heel (my heel would lift off a lot each time I walk) so I tried 10 again and it fitted much better at the heel.

Since then, the 10 have stretched on the side and they're not tight anymore.

Not sure about leather version though.

  5. question - I wear between a 13 and 15 and different brands of shoes and people keep telling me clarks run true to size, but I can't find a 14 (which is what most of my shoes are). Would a 13 suffice, and I should just use some shoe stretchers to gimme some extra give?

    Stick with your converse size.

  6. Ok, no one really answered why they were so long. Is it because of stacking? I'd love to buy these but 36 is way too long 34 is pushing it for me.

They're raw jeans, and look/start the same. If they make a LONGER inseam that would technically accommodate everyone (that are less than 6'5 say), then they don't have to waste money making millions of different length.

Imagine you go to BiG, and you need 34" inseam, but BiG only has 32" left? What if they were all 36" though? Everyone can buy them then. DO YOU UNDERSTAND?

Also, they shrink for the lulz.

I suppose you're buying them new, so whoever you're buying from should be able to hem the jeans for you, just add around 3" extra your normal inseam to account for shrinkage.
