to the top. added outlier new works, size 36, blue.

bring it up.

On the flip side of that, I have worn my original works for about 3 years at least weekly if not more, and I just had the first issue with them, the stitching around the zipper started coming undone. easy enough fix.
I think that the price is worth it. I also ride all the time, so the little things that make their clothes super comfortable (like the stretch or the knees/crotch) make them just killer for riding.

just got my stuff from the as is sale, thanks again to Stacks! I got all of this stuff for riding/commuting/bikecamping in VT, couldn't be happier.
60/30 chinos - these have a small hole and some staining on them, may turn them into shorts. i think that the chinos are probably my favorite pant from outlier, as they look the most 'normal' non-tech, but still do the job.
ultralight pants - first impression on these is "wow, these are superlight and stretchy". these will probably get a ton of use during summertime. my pair is a super light blue/grey, not sure the name, but would prob opt for a darker color in these as the lightness of the color shows the lightness of the fabric pretty clearly. like wearing super light/thin sweatpants.
new works - i much prefer the old workwear pants, as they had the supersoft brushed inside lining. didn't realize they did away with that in the new works, as the old workwear pants are probably my favorite pants on earth. was planning to swap these out for the old workwears which i have had for the past 3 years and are starting to need repairs, but i am definitely just going to get the old workwears repaired, they are much nicer.
OG pants - these are sweet, love the stretch. they look a little techy, moreso than the chinos, but not too bad. i can see wearing these all the time. my pair has a little snag in the fabric. nothing to worry about, but noticeable.
ultralight shorts - nice addition to my shorts, i have the workwears and the three ways already. not a huge fan of the pleats, but feel like they look different enough to wear instead of my other shorts.
Also a note about the three way shorts - i am not sure what the big deal is about the inseam, i don't think it's ludicrously short or anything. They aren't magnum PI shorts. They are perfect for being on the bike, and i like that they are a tiny bit shorter than most other shorts, looks much better. Shorts are too long these days. They are much longer than the patagonia standup shorts which used to be my go-to summer shorts. Anywho, i have a pair and love them. There is no better pair of shorts to wear on the bike for a ride to a swimming hole, then return to town for a lunch. Just total perfection.

^the OG pant should get restocked soon, has been out of stock for a bit. think I saw them mention on twitter as well, but don't think they gave a date for restock.

anyone have experience with the peacoat sizing? it says it is cut true to size, but then the measurements look like they are much more slim than usual (large is 40 p2p, for example).

weavers are smooth as butter. good luck w/ sale!

there is a nice Rockers vibe in some of the stuff - wouldn't be surprised to see Horsey or Dirty Harry wearing about half of the collection.
i feel like they are just trolling at this point with the supreme accessories lol.

The three way's are probably my favorite summertime shorts. I see people complaining about the length being too short, but i like it. I saw those reds at $68, that's a steal.
My outlier stuff gets more use/dollar spent than probably all of my other clothes combined. I just wore my original pair of workwear pants until they are literally coming apart at the seams (after about 3 years of at least weekly wear), will get them repaired and keep wearing them. I have a pair of three way and workwear shorts and those have been my go-to shorts for the past 2/3 summers. And I wear all this stuff to ride (and swim) in, not just sitting around office.
It holds up well, I love that I can bring one pair of shorts somewhere and be able to ride, swim, dry out, and look good for dinner with an oxford.
Stacks hooked it up for the as is sale, I am going to be set for a couple years when it comes to pants and shorts to ride in. At 40/pop my dollar/times worn margin on these things are going to be through the roof.

x post from small questions..
Maybe better here..
Can anyone point me to some high grade tech wear shirts that don't have me look a goth ninj or a designer ?
Something I can wear under a suit.
Straight up , tailored and no gimmicks(zippers etc)...
Outlier blaze pivot also comes to mind.

heads-up, danner stumptown mountain lights for 130/140/150 depending on model, at the breakroom, which is a new danner overstock site. This is an invite code which, if you use, gives me a credit. feel free to use or not to use. i have the lownsdales, and they are my favorite fall boot b/c they are so light. i paid retail too, and think they are worth it.
(i posted this in clothing for great outdoors too, sorry for xpost)

anyone have the outlier vest? wondering about using it as a layering piece underneath veilance field jacket to be able to wear it a little deeper into the winter.

my time is worth more to me. question stands, how much do you pay tailor to reinforce buttons on an oxford shirt?

Was just thinking something similar^ Outlier stuff is not perfect. It is, by any fair analysis, awesome, and doesn't really compare to anything else in that price range. There are either much more expensive options (like veilance or stone island) that are comparable, or cheaper options which don't look as nice (north face cargoes or something). The Outlier materials are fantastic, the cuts are great, and the construction has never failed me.
I ride my bike everywhere, don't have a car, and haven't yet destroyed a pair of outliers despite having them for three years. Regular pants would be done for in a matter of months. Plus cotton is awful for active endeavors, and wool is great but wears out way faster (truly a problem for bike riding pants).
I would much rather buy a pair of outliers that are going to be comfortable, durable, stain-free, and look good than anything else available right now.
