  1. UPDATE, Sept. 5: APC New Cures added; LOVA fit pics added (last post).

    1. APC SOLD!

1.5. NEW LISTING. APC New Cures in WHITE. Purchased a month ago, worn about 10 times and washed three times (by hand, hung dry). Tagged 31; fits like a very slim 32 or regular 31. Still in excellent shape, brilliant white; some minor staining that should go away with proper care. One small yellow spot (impossible to photograph) from using a bleach pen. $65 shipped.

    2. Lova made in L.A. slim greyish denim. Tagged a 32; stretched to ~33 (will probably reshrink). Worn approximately 10 times, cold soaked once. As these are not raw, I would recommend a nice handwash before shipping. Gorgeous slate grey denim, incredibly soft and supple, very slim fit. Slightly dressy, very hip; definitely the highest quality denim I own (including NDG, APC, Nudie, etc.). NOW $105 shipped.

    (Retailed for $275.)

    Measurements:

Waist: 16.75" (likely to shrink to shrink after wash)

    Thigh: 11.25"

    Knee: 7.55"

    Hem: 7"

    [Accurate color in LAST picture]

  2. These were once my all-time favourite jeans; and they remain my all-time favourite fitting jeans. Although they could still be mistaken for the garments of nobility, owing to a small series of mishaps they are no longer what they once were.

During my third or fourth wear, I spilled oil on both pant legs and made the very, very foolish mistake of letting it settle. A few small dabbles of shout and a cold cycle later, the jeans still look beautiful but have two mild fades along the knee (left leg) and inner thigh (right leg). Because I know how much I loved them in their glory-days, I can no longer bare to look at them!

There was another pair of these for sale here for $200-some-odd NWT a couple of months back (can no longer find the post). They retail for well above that, and are MIJ. Aside from the imperfections noted, my pair are cosmetically excellent.

Waist measures 16.5" across, and inseam is ~34". The fit is something like an Average Joe with a slightly slimmer thigh, or else think of the most recent NDG Classic denim fit, but with a slightly slimmer calf. In any case, beautifully cut.

$90; will contemplate trades and reasonable offers.

  3. EDIT (oh yeah): Size 32; inseam about a 34.

I purchased these at Holt Renfew just yesterday and tore off the tag to force myself to wear them. They are probably the most beautiful jeans I have ever owned, but after much consultation with the girlfriend and the mirror I believe actual fit on my body is slightly immodest (I have an athletic build).

LOVA is based in Los Angeles and is just beginning to hit the scene up straight with really beautiful, clean-lined classic looks. CONTEXT and Revolve carry some of their stuff, and I wouldn't by any means be exaggerating if I state that these particular jeans are right up there with W+H, NDG (japanese-made stuff), and way beyond Nudie or APC in terms of quality. It takes a lot to get me to buy something at Holt, but I had never seen anything quite like these before. Tag says made in USA; clerk told me they were actually made in NYC.

Anyways, detailing is incredibly minimal; lines are very, very clean; denim is incredibly soft and supple and even; fit is very slim (I look like a horse jockey; think one degree slimmer than Thin Finns); colour is a very classy, even icey grey.

Retailed for $275; I got them on sale and will let them go for $125 shipped.

    Buyer WILL NOT be disappointed!

Will post pics if there is serious interest.

    Thanks!

P.S. I got just as many rave reviews as I did looks of horror when I wore them out today; I could post some fit pics (Egad!) if the community would like to throw in its two cents. I'd rather keep them than sell them, really.

  4. Hah, you rescucitated this old thread!

Well, FYI to all: I took this coat off the market even though I had a few bids at my asking price ($350) back in December. I'll consider selling it again (since Stacks mailed me I've received a few PMs), but I'm back in Toronto where the coat is on August 6th. Til then I'm in Vancouver, and coatless :)

BTW, in case any of my old customers here on sufu see this thread, could you guys bump up my rep? I just noticed it for the first time, and it's full of stupid-ass comments that have nothing to do with buying or selling.

    Thanks!

Price drop: $81 to the US, $79 w/in Canada.

Bought these just about one month ago and made the mistake of wearing them on the eve of going on a hiking trip with my girlfriend. They got muddy and I felt I needed to wash them when I got home; now they've turned out in a manner that I don't like.

They've only been cold, gentle-cycled once. If someone were to wear the heck of these, I'm sure they'd look amazing. I'd rather start fresh.

Tagged a 31 but fits like a 32. Skip the nonsense of a 34-inseam and get something that fits off the bat. I'm 5"11 and these are *perfect* in the length.

$85 shipped w/in Canada; $87 to the States.

  6. If interested, PM me your cash offers. I'd also like to hear from you if you have any interesting denim for sale in a TTS 32 (or else denim that will stretch to that size).

    1) Wings + Horns Tiger Fleece Vest in black. Size L; fits like a M/L. Worn 5 times, never washed. New condition.

    2) Diesel Viker jeans. Beautiful but too big on me. Tagged a 32, fits more like a 33 or 34. Distressed black, tasteful fading, very nice denim. Worn 5 times, gentle-cycled once. Looks new.
