X-post from WAYWT. Thanks MuFID! for letting me know about this (I don't get around the site much.)
This is a dress I made from one piece of fabric and two seams. I didn't do any sketches for it, but just fit it to my body. Viscose blend, so it is very pajama-like in texture, kind of a go-between. If I get around to it, I may post pics of the back later.

i like the 3rd one in the first image best
^ I agree, this one caught my eye, although the gathering may be a bit more difficult.
Your girl is very lucky; you must be one in a million (at least to sew her a dress).

Wow, I really love this outfit.

Pic taken today: This is a dress I made the other day from a single piece of fabric and two seams. I kind of made it up as I went; looks on the formal side, but is actually made of an extremely soft viscose blend & can transition from formal to casual. My own critique on it is it's very bunchy in the front; if I make another one it might use less material. It's a more subdued blue but looks extremely bright in this pic. Honest opnions are welcome.

1- why would you post a waywt of stuff you grabbed rushing out the door? did you suddenly have the spare time to take a picture, upload it, and post?
2- your choice of major may not be the most conducive to your stated life goal.
3- you sound like a loud cunt with a shallow, poorly considered world view.
(ps did you see the oh-so-subtle sarcasm in number 2?)
end rant.
seriously though, how did you piss off this many people in such a short time
RE to #2: You are entirely correct in this analysis. I am a fourth-year college student who has another year ahead of me. (I was undecided for 2 years, hence my needing a 5th year.) At this point it would be foolish to change majors. However, it was not until more recently that I was truly exposed to much of the corruption in parts of the fashion industry. I say "parts" because there are companies out there who are making a sincere effort to do good. However, there are some who do not, and this is what has been eating at me lately.

Ah yes, I did see that one.

i wouldnt be so quick to generalize, sure theres a shit load of testosterone on this forum, especially compared to the other fashion forums out there... but that doesnt mean we're all mysogynists
im sure no one here would actually call you "bitch" or "cunt" to your face (except for maybe a coked-out jmatsu), but you should know by now that the internet's vague guise of anonymity compounds impulsive behavior
It beguiles me. I want to know IRL, are men really thinking these things toward women. It's an odd contrast since a majority of my very good friends are guys. On here I would not sincerely call anyone a friend; a few seem bent on reducing women to their sexual properties rather than their intellectual ones.

did i neg disillusioned? is she the one that looks like an eastern block prostitute? that probably would've been my neg rep if i remembered to neg rep. i dunno though.
no hate, i've just watched a ton of russian porn in the last couple of months so if im thinking of the right person, then thats what it reminds me of.
You are correct in observing that I am a majority Czech and German. However, I am not a prostitute.

^shut the fuck up, equal rights, equal fights.
one gets negged for being a tool, looking like a tool, wearing wack ass outfits, annoying everyone, and generally being a waste of e-space. if youre a girl you generally (i use this "generally" lightly, as its almost an "always") have a MUCH easier chance at procuring positive rep, this point is made slap-you-in-the-fucking-face apparent by the fact you, an annoying FEMALE with a sub-par sense of style and less than 40 posts already have two green squares.
i make fun of people out of retaliation all the time and get positive rep for it. youre wrong. wrong.
(yeah, calling a lady a cunt is really rude. im not down with that either. but its still just a word, they cant ever hurt you remember?)
I am not offended by the word itself, but I am curious as to who these people are who would say such things. It seems a lot of people on here like their women dumb and complacent; sex objects that don't put up a fight. I am not speaking for everyone, obviously.

Aye, if people don't like the outfits, that's up to them. Heck, if you don't like my face, that's fine too. However, a girl shouldn't get called a "cunt," and other derogatory slang for it. That is considered one of the most offensive words in the English language.

Nice. My first waywt post makes it into shit talking. You guys sure know how to warm the cockles of my heart.
It's all right, they make fun of everyone, but if you make fun of them back, they neg. rep you. If you're a girl you get called, "bitch," and worse I got called a "cunt" today. Hmm. It's very one-sided, but just stick to what you like. I think you look nice.

Well after wearing the Wescos most of the day my ankles feel like this:
Ha - Misery: that movie is a classic. Watched it very recently.

jesus christ this is awful.
it seems like you're going to stick around for awhile (and that's a good thing), but i wouldn't fault you for a second if you left.
memo to self: neg fndmybetterhalf sooner rather than later.
I owe you + rep for later for being from Portland. I ran out of + reps for the day.

tintinsonson, your jeans are marvelous. kind of a different fade pattern than what I am used to seeing (more toward the top and not so much near the bottom).
onatilupessej, I can't believe they look that good @ 3 months. I've got over 3 on mine - maybe I need to get in more brawls and stop wearing other jeans in btwn.

this comiong from the girl who claims OSU has a GREAT FASHION PROGRAM?
after seeing a pic of you, you really shouldve stuck with agriculture cuz you sure as fuck arent going anywhere near the fashion industry dressed like that and learning "fashunz" from Oregon State University. LAFFFFFFF
I didn't say it was great. And you're probably right about that. I'd rather start working for advocacy against sweatshops rather than being a pawn.

These are the same 0500xx that I wore for the Samurai contest that Adsurgo won. Worn since Nov. 1st 2006 --> Now.
4 Washes
Size 30 x 36
I recently sent them to Denim Doctors / Hollywood Trading Co. in LA to fix a giant busted crotch that was developing. My left backpocket's corner also loosened such that things literally started to stick out of the corners. They did a fucking marvelous job at making sure that both areas are reinforced. I highly recommend them 10/10.
You can't really tell anything special about it, that's why it's so good.
....
Um, holy cow. I know where I am sending my Type 1s once they give out.

good to see some women's boots around here. please post more and enjoy your stay. thanks.I agree, Welcome!! And of course -- more photos!!!!
Thanks Chicken & Greg.
^ drool.
I have 4 pairs of boots that I alternate, plus other shoes. All my boots get a beating because they're mainly worn on pavement for at least a couple miles a day. That's my contribution to the aforementioned topic of alternating shoes.
