Has anyone else had any comments from random ppl on the street about their SEXI04s...i was walking down the street the other day and a group of teens were sayin to each other "i've never seen that before in m life" (referring to the stack)...and another time these two guys were walking behind me and i could hear one guy say to his friend "check those jeans out, ask him where he got them from"...these are definately the first pair of denim i've owned that have gotten this kind of reaction from randoms on the street...

The ruffle with that god-awful cuff on the jeans just makes the whole outfit look really, really messy and not in a dressed down, good kind of way. It looks like you're trying to dress nicely but just don't have anything which works.

For the love of all that is holy, hem those jeans. The cuff looks terrible.

weather = manic depressive. warm sun, but random cold wind, so kinda kept it in between.

first time wearing the pants since last fall...been trying to shed a few pounds lately, so they're a little big. kinda started sagging. ed.: they are a size 4, which was the smallest size available (2 and 0 were all gone.)

Stop trying to explain away every suggestion people make. If you want advice then just take it without trying to argue against it. If you don't want the advice/are just posting pictures because you think people may be interested in your fits then ignore advice and comments. The way you respond is the reason people dislike you and the reason that you come across as a whiner.

What makes it obvious that you used starch? Is it actually visible in a photo?

I feel embarrassed to be a part of this plague.

Lock it down and then temporarily ban all the March 2008 users for 30 days. Those of us who actually have an interest in the forum will come back, those of us who just want to compare Nudies to Diesel or figure out what size New Standards to buy will go to StyleForum or hypebeast or something, or just forget about the forum altogether.

If you need to ask the internet about what jeans you should stock then you may want to open a different type of store. If you lack the expertise to even know what brands you want to stock you're probably not going to be of much help when someone comes into the store looking for advice.

How is it that we still don't have any fit pictures of any of the cuts from this brand? I am curious to see if the naysayers were right or not.

I really like those long wallets, but isn't it just asking to get mugged when you carry those? Or do all the people with long wallets live in small towns where there ain't such a thing as PT pickpockets?

That's why people attach them to their japanese jeans with super intricate leather straps. That way if the thief wants to steal your wallet they'll have to take your $300 jeans with them.

c) Most japanese stores don't ship outside of Japan. Just use one of the proxy services listed on this forum if you really want to import those items. Blue in Green in NYC are the American sellers of all three of those jeans and they sell online. But you won't get them with tabs or the back pocket arches.

d) I am really embarassed that I joined this forum this month. I sort of hope that everyone who joined in march gets deleted. I'd be okay with losing the ability to post if it made the forum easier to read again.

Alife are good quality, but not mind blowing.

I have no experience with the two new models you asked about but the Publics, Slip Ons and Everybody Highs that I have are all really nice. They use a really nice insole that makes them more comfortable than a lot of flat soled sneakers.

I personally find the sizing on them to be kind of strange - I wouldn't order them online without trying on a pair in that make (from that season) first. You're also more likely to find a deal on them in a brick and mortar shop at the end of the season - particularly if you have a strange shoe size.

As someone else said: why not just get a pair of Clarks wallabees?
