Check out Russo and Russo on Enmore rd. Been up for two years now, I think. It's not ground breaking or experimental, but its fucking good food, good drinks and good digs.
And if you're in the Inner West, Oscillate Wildly and Sixpenny are definitely worth a look.
Thanks, definitely trying Russo and Russo as soon as possible.

so i bought my first uniqlo oxford (this one, http://www.uniqlo.co...re/goods/069233) in JP large (~a US medium) and it fits well everywhere but by god, it's really long. i'm a little of 6' so hardly short - what's up? it's just a regular model, not long. are these things not meant to be worn untucked? i always wear my oxfords untucked.. n shit.
other than that, really nice. for $20, or whatever it was, fabric feels really nice.
I purchased the same ones recently in Japan. The material has improved from previous seasons, arms are still short and yea the length is just nuts. Great value for ~$20.

dont know if you guys know this, but Pieces is doing some pop up sale store. just across from mamak rest. 50-70% ... until 3rd of march if im not mistaken. damir doma - drkshdw - julius etc
I dropped in there the other night when I was lining up for mamak. IMHO Its all well and good that they are stocking dbss, obscur, drkshdw, doma etc, but if you cant get the customer service side of things right then I dont think they should have bothered with a high end approach to the store.

That flag towel
For 2100yen, it must be tiny.

The length hasnt changed much on the latter seasons, only the sleeves seem to have gotten longer.

I have been using uniqlo's +J shirts for work. Slim fit but quality is not that great, expected for ~$50. The non iron ones were probably the best. There is still some on the Japanese sight for 1990yen last time I looked but slim pickings.

i ordered some uniqlo oxfords last year but they're not the traditional oxford fabric for some reason? it's some weird dry mesh bullshit. but i couldn't return them so they're just sitting in my closet. did i order the wrong thing or something?
I got the same ones you are talking about, but the new season ones are a massive improvement.

Thats a bit dissapointing, Pasi Petanen has a kind of cult fallowing in sydney.
Sadly the only other place I have ventured into recently was cho cho san. It has that izakaya feel to it with an excellent drinks menu, food was decent but nothing amazing, it is another Japanese place afterall.
