I think sizing up on the average joes would have given me a somewhat baggy fit.
In the size 28s, I think it was the perfect fit because i wanted to get somewhat close to a slim, straight silhouette.

here is me in my average joes. these are a little slimmer than my Okinawas. I'm really having a hard time deciding which but i think if i do, this is my plan
My height: 5'4"
Weight:128-130lbs
Natural waist: 28-29
If I get the 3001= size up to 29"
If I get the F380 = actual waist size 28"
my yea, I like the fit of the F380's on you keendream. Skistar, when you do post pictures, can you give me height, weight, and natural waist size.

^ Opie, are you suggesting a 3001 cut wouldn't fit for me because I have sasuage legs?
its either that or F380

^ notorious, yea it really is. it bruised my hips and I just called it quits. i dont think i can go 30+ wears to make it stretch out. So I just wet the waist with cold water and found a laptop perfect enought to put in stretch mode.

nice fit keendream. I would never think the flat head f380s could fit like that.
what is your actual waist?

My brand new sugar canes okinawas that came in today. Crossposted from the Sugar cane thread.
Sugar Cane Okinanwas SC40301A size 28
Actual waist size:28-29
Weight: 127-129lbs
Height: 5'4
Right now it hurts in the waist to wear these. It too me a while to button the top button, but it was still manageable.
here are some fit pictures

I am really having a debacle because I don't know if I should go size 28 or 29 on the 3001/310s.
For a little more info:
Height:5'4
Weight:127-129lbs
Ive bought a pair of Nudies average joes in size 28 and sugar canes okinawas size 28. The nudies were okay to button up(wearing it the first time was a perfect snug fit), but the sugar canes in a size 28 I have a little trouble buttoning the top button, but was still able to do it. Now I am sitting here(in the Okinawas) in a little constricted pain around the waist, but i love the okinanwas. I also wear a pair of gaps in size 29 for a perfect, comfortably snug fit.
My ideal goal is to have the fit of sidneys or ordo's, but I don't want a very very very very slim jean that makes my dick disappear. Just slim form silhouette. I keep reading "GET TRUE SIZE" and then "SIZE UP ONE", im so confused.
any suggestions?
I'll take pictures of me in my canes soon since I just got them today, but if pictures in my nudies are needed to help size, I am happy to post them!

I did buy the one-wash state. I think all Okinawa's SC40301A come in one-wash state.
does wetting the waist help the stretch alot better?
here are some fit pictures

STROPIO-nice age of those. I got the same pair. you started wearing them when you got them without any soaks/wash? did your waist stretch? It's so hard to button these things up...

Hey Ordo, I think this has been asked alot, but
Ive been eyeing either the F380s and the 3001s and looking at your pics makes the 3001 look real nice, a different cut that I want to have since I've been only wearing straight cuts.
what is your actual waist size?
and what tag size did you get for your 3001s?
height/weight?

^ flat heads 3001/310 can have a similar fit although it's not relaxed. it's a slim fit. I never own a pair of myself, but i have seen a lot of pictures with people wearing it and that fit looks very similar
if you don't want a very slim fit, you can do what kiya told me and and just up one size. but be sure to account for stretching/shrinkage

^ what was actual waist for you?
the PBJs look good, i might have to pick one up as well

Nudies Average Joe Dry Heavy size 28
actual waist size: 28
Condition: approx 2.5 weeks, 5-6/7 days a week. No soak/no wash.
Height: 5'-3"-5'4"
weight: 128lbs.
the belt is just there because I thought it could prevent some bleeding on my white t's, which it helped a little, it doesn't hold up the jeans or anything. Okinawa's coming in this week thanks to masataka! I am looking for another purchase that is a little slimmer than the average joes, probably Flatheads 3001/310
